This property offers modern, appealing apartments in a gated community that's conveniently close to amenities and features well-lit parking, making for a generally quiet living experience. However, some residents have reported issues with sound insulation, leading to noticeable noise from neighbors, and there have been recurring concerns regarding security deposit deductions, with many feeling charges for cleaning and minor replacements are excessive.

Nice apartment, fairly quiet minus the train. Typically passes twice during the daytime. Pam is amazing and gets things done as quick as possible.

BEWARE: The Crossing Apartments - Security Deposit Nightmare I feel compelled to warn potential renters about my experience with The Crossing Apartments, particularly regarding their security deposit practices. What happened to me appears to be a pattern, not an isolated incident. Security Deposit Issues Upon move-out, I was shocked to discover that management had deducted the majority of my $995 security deposit for what I consider to be minor, inflated, or unnecessary charges: * $20 for smoke detector battery replacement * $20 for door lock battery * $70 for apartment air filter * $25 for thermostat battery * $75 for light bulb replacement(s) * $225 for "standard cleaning fee" * $325 for cleaning oven, refrigerator, and "buffing hardwood floors." *And much more. These charges strike me as excessive and unreasonable. For example, $75 for light bulbs? $20 each for essential batteries that cost a fraction of that at any store? $70 for an air filter that typically costs $10-15? Pattern of Behavior This appears to be a systematic approach to retaining security deposits. I've since learned from other former tenants that they experienced similar issues with seemingly inflated charges that conveniently add to most or all of their security deposit. Recommendations If you're considering The Crossing Apartments 1. Document EVERYTHING upon move-in and move-out with dated photos and videos 2. Request a detailed pre-inspection before moving out 3. Replace all batteries, filters, and light bulbs yourself (keep receipts!) 4. Clean thoroughly and document the condition 5. Have a witness present during the final inspection if possible Despite following many steps, I still lost $795 of my deposit. Consider whether dealing with these practices is worth it before signing a lease. I will update any reconciliation after seeking assistance.

This apartment overall is cute, new, and very modern. I lived here from 6/22-5/23. Although it is advertised as Luxury, the insulation in this apartment is AWFUL. We were able to hear phone calls from our downstairs and upstairs neighbors, each footstep, and even a cough or sneeze while there would be background noise. This created a LOT of issues with our downstairs neighbors that ultimately forced us to move out early and break our lease. We were not here during the time that the pool was finished nor was the gym until the end, however the gym is very small and seems to be a gym for 1-2 people max. It is inside an apartment unit and does not meet the expectations of the other "luxury" apartments I have rented at. Besides this, the units themselves are absolutely stunning and large open layouts. I really wish our neighbors were nicer as we would have made this place our home for longer. We were constantly harassed for even walking to get a glass of water or "opening our patio door". Pam is AMAZING and I wish she was our property manager for everywhere! I would love to give this more stars, but the overall sound barriers are something that I wish I would have known moving in.
