This community generally offers a quiet and peaceful living environment with several attractive amenities like a dog park, gym, pool, and volleyball court, creating a positive social atmosphere. However, some residents have experienced concerns regarding property maintenance, particularly with unresolved issues like lingering fallen tree limbs and a lack of responsiveness to significant water damage and mold, which can impact day-to-day living and value for money.

Chanice Roberson was very passionate, kind, respectful, and informative! She answered all our questions with complete transparency. She is a exceptional client services manager. We appreciate the tour and amenities of this apartment complex. Looking forward to moving in soon.

Great apartment complex. The staff are friendly. There is a dog park, gym, laundry center, swimming pool with a large grill, and a volleyball field. I think they should open a children's park and enforce people to clean up their dogs poop. Other than that, it's a quiet peaceful living area.

I had a very disappointing experience living at this apartment complex. The most devastating issue was that my dog was killed on the property when a large tree limb fell on her. The limb appeared to be rotted, yet management offered excuses rather than taking meaningful responsibility for what happened. While they allowed us to transfer to another apartment, that was the only solution offered. Given the circumstances, I felt a lease termination option should have been considered. As if losing one dog was not traumatic enough, my other dog slipped out of his harness during the chaos and ran away. Management told me to email them a photo so they could post him on the resident portal and help spread the word. I immediately did so, but hours passed and nothing was ever posted. Since then, I have seen the apartment complex post numerous notices for other lost pets, which only makes it more frustrating that they failed to follow through when my family was dealing with an emergency. Thankfully, we were able to find him ourselves, but it was no thanks to the assistance we were promised. What made the situation even more frustrating was being told later by a leasing agent, Megan, that management had offered to let us break our lease. This was simply not true and directly contradicted what we were told at the time. Instead of accountability, I felt there was an attempt to rewrite what happened. To make matters worse, the tree limb involved in the incident remained on the property for months afterward and, as of this review, approximately seven months later, it is still there. The fact that it has not been removed demonstrates a concerning lack of attention to maintenance and safety. Beyond these issues, I found the apartments themselves to be underwhelming for the price. They are decent enough, but there are many nicer and better-maintained properties in the area that cost the same or even less. Considering the quality of the apartments, the handling of a tragic safety incident, the lack of follow-through during an emergency, and the lack of accountability afterward, I cannot recommend this property to prospective residents. After everything that happened during my time here, moving out was a huge relief. I can honestly say I have never been happier to be away from a place.

I have nothing but great things to say about 926 West! From the second I started the leasing process the staff has been amazing and responsive! From answering any questions, quickly addressing and resolving any concerns, and being communicative with the residents through email, text, and even flyers. As if the staff isn’t a great amenity, the dog park, pool, and gym are such amazing perks to this complex, and I love how quiet this community is! I would 110% recommend to anyone looking for a new apartment, I can assure you we’ll be here until we’re ready to purchase a home!

9 different floods/leaks in 1 year's time. Never again! Me and my children lost everything we own dealing with them. They never cared and always responded that I need to take it up with my renters insurance company. I called an inspector out from Richmond County Health Department, who left in shock at the condition in which me and my children were being forced to live under. You should've seen the look on his face when bits of drywall and water hit him in the face and head. My rent increased 2x, and would've been $1550 next month for 2br, had I not found a much better place to stay. The unit they show you looks nothing like the unit they'll stick you with and they won't show you your unit beforehand. They'll claim its being "renovated". Pay close attention. Nothings really renovated. They apply cheap paint over imperfections. Requesting work orders is a joke and maintenance men come in your place at unscheduled times, which is scary when you have children at home. That's when they actually do come out. You have to call repeatedly for assistance and they never fix anything. They'll say they're going to grab a tool and be right back. They don't come back. I caught the maintenance man painting over mold that was all over my kitchen ceiling from a flood upstairs that occurred a month after the tenant moved out. Just paint! That's how they deal with their mold issues? Pay attention to the reviews, as a lot of them pertain to mold and bugs. Now they're charging me over $1000 for damages previously done to the apartment (I have plenty of pictures), alongside damage that took place during the floods. I thank God every morning for removing me and my children from 926 West Apartments/Pegasus Residential. It was a minor setback for a major comeback. I no longer have to worry about the ceilings dropping in on us. I can sleep now knowing we are finally safe. Pictures provided are from different floods/leaks. They definitely have a serious black mold problem, as well.
