Vue at Embry Hills

If you’re dealing with Ny or Victor for your move out, do not expect to get your refund check back for your deposit! I moved out July 17th, it’s September 17th and I still have not received it. Vue at Embry has now blocked my phone number, to where you can’t even call and get in touch with anyone. Move here at your own risk, but you probably won’t get your deposit back! You can count on that .

NO! …. The common areas and stairways are dirty, and there is basically no security when it comes to receiving your packages.. Their response is simply, “You’re not the only person this has happened to,” instead of actually doing something about it. How can I file a complaint if management doesn’t respond to emails and the office is even closed on Saturdays, with a sign saying they’re showing a unit? Is everyone in the office out showing units at the same time? I’ve had a maintenance request for a water leak since February, and as of today, they keep giving me the same excuse: they don’t have the part. I can only imagine how many other apartments have the same issue, which might explain the ridiculously high water bills. And if you want to live with ROACHES while management ignores your complaints and does nothing about them, then this is definitely the place for you.

I’ve lived here for almost a year now and with the utmost clarity I can say that you can not rely on the elevator, Most of the time it is not working and they don’t treat it as much of an emergency! Imagine coming to this apartment to meet a friend and once you dial the code to the elevator you can’t get up at all so you’re left completely helpless unless a person with the keycard luckily passes by and lets you take the stairs. The office is also closed most of the time considering that there are a bunch of packages in there especially on Saturday's I went there 2 times today around 10am and 1 pm to get my package and they still weren’t open! The disadvantages brought by the absence and negligence of the managers of this apartment is crazy 🫩

I would take this comment as your sign not to move here. Me and my girlfriend have lived here for several years and if I could give this place 0 stars I would. They charge premium rent for the trashiest environment. The parking garage is filthy and the gate is always busted. Cars have been stolen and broken into many times, and the residents are super loud and will door ding your car. I had a nice car before I moved here and it has so many dents and paint scratches because of this place, and my girlfriend has come out to soda and all sorts of other trash spilled on her car. You can have a reserved parking space but they really drag their feet when it comes to enforcing it when someone parks in your spot. The towing company they use never picks up the phone either. Management is so horrible, Teresa and Victor will ignore you at every turn if you have an issue with your apartment. Our A/C unit filled our apartment with a horrible electrical burning smell and we tried to talk to them about it and they said it was nothing to worry about and then the VERY next day it caught fire. They ignored our emails and left us without A/C and only brought us a window unit when we threatened to go to Dekalb County Code Enforcement because our apartment was sitting at 80+ degrees throughout the day. They tried to lie and say that it was only a short circuit and not a fire when it filled our apartment with so much toxic smoke that we had to leave for the day and their own maintenance staff said the motherboard had caught fire and showed us a picture and it was charred and black... Our apartment had bad roach issues and the complexes pest control did the bare minimum and never solved the issues. It took them months to address a simple issue with our dryer. They've come into our apartment for an inspection and left their keys in our door while we were both gone at work leaving our apartment unlocked all day. I could go on and on. I would seriously consider another place, any place other than this one. If you do live here be ready and know your rights under the law because you'll need it to get the management here to do literally anything, and that's if you can talk to them because they never answer the phones, claim they never received your emails and close up the office whenever they want. I would not live here again if it was offered to me for free.
