This property offers a prime location with excellent walkability to essentials like a grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants, alongside modern amenities like a pool and gym that are consistently well-maintained. Many residents highlight the friendly and responsive staff, particularly the maintenance team, and appreciate the frequent community events that foster a social atmosphere. While the convenient location and social offerings are a big plus, some residents have noted occasional issues with noise from neighbors due to thin walls and frequent fire alarms, which can be disruptive.

The loudest building I’ve ever had the DISPLEASURE of living in. Paper thin walls.. looks nice but at what cost?! Your peace and sanity.

My partner and I have been living here the past year and we absolutely loved it. We recently moved out due to moving to a different state, but we wanted to share our experience. The entire team (Bobby, Natasha and Jessica) have been nothing but friendly and accommodating. The maintenance team (David) and EVS team are also so amazing and kind. They host a lot of well organized community events, and some for our fur babies as well. CONS Sadly there have been some pet urine/feces in public spaces as of lately, but the team is diligent with emails/providing potty bags around the property (this is really the owners responsibility bc why are we not picking up after our pets)? I saw another post about unhoused individuals close by, and yes this is Buckhead but we’re still in ATL… I’ve never had a problem with the homeless, they didn’t bother us at all. There is an APD car that’s usually parked on the property and always cops by Publix. I’ve always felt safe living here especially bc it’s a gated community. Saw another post about the power outages/fire alarms. Yes, it does alarm from time to time, along with the outages, but I think this has to due with the rain/storms. Georgia power is also probably the worst/slowest (I’ve lived in 4 other states prior) and this is a congested/highly populated area with lots of power lines— I feel like this is unfortunately out of The Beverly's control, but they are great with sending out urgent messages regarding outages/fire alarms. Construction— they have been doing sidewalk/road work for a solid 6 months now. It’s right outside the leasing office, but it expands down towards the chipotle. The noise can be annoying (I worked night shifts at the hospital— sleeping during the days I could hear it sometimes) and the potholes right now are crazy but the construction workers are mindful with keeping the entrance clear. PROS Location is prime— Publix right in our backyard, Starbucks, CFA, shopping all within walking distance. Lenox/TJs/Aldi is also a 5 min drive away. *the traffic does get bad from 4-7pm-ish but that’s just normal buckhead traffic unfortunately* New property— I believe Beverly opened in 2024? Not sure, but we were the first tenants to live in our unit which was a selling point. Absolutely ZERO insects/spiders/etc in our unit during my time here which was very important for me as a girl who hates bugs. (We did live on the top floor however). The whole property is fairly clean and the EVS crew really works hard to keep it this way! Gated garage is well kept, diligent with booting if you don’t have the appropriate stickers/decals. There is no assigned parking which was great. Package room— the team really does try to organize and keep it well maintained- but residents really need to come grab their packages ASAP bc it’s a small room. I never had any issues however. Dog run- we have a senior dog and this dog run has been perfect for us (another selling point when we first applied). It’s decently maintained, and they provide doggy bags for us (again though- fur parents please pick up after your dog)! It’s been great though bc our dog has arthritis and can’t walk on concrete. It’s also covered so we could use it during rainy days which was super helpful. They also have a pet spa with a tub/dryer if needed. On site convenience store— this is really nice for when it’s late night/early morning or when it’s cold/hot out and you don’t feel like walking to the Publix. It’s upcharged for the convenience but has came in handy when we needed something asap. Gym and pool— beautiful amenities also both really well maintained and clean. No complaints. Neighbors— I loved how the primary tenant age was more mature (mid 20s- ranging to 40/50/60s). Everyone was really kind and sociable. Overall, in my 12 years of hopping around different apartment complexes in ATL, this one has been my favorite. I will definitely miss calling this place my home!! ❤️

I would strongly caution anyone considering living at The Beverly by Alta to think about how management will support you when something actually goes wrong. An electrical fire occurred in the electrical equipment serving my unit and left my apartment uninhabitable. The fire itself was obviously stressful, but what has been even more disappointing has been the lack of meaningful support and communication afterward. Nearly a month after the incident, I still have not been provided basic information regarding the building’s insurance claim, including a claim number or a clear point of contact. I have repeatedly followed up with management and the adjuster I was directed to, only to be told my emails were being forwarded or that information was unavailable. Management has also declined to provide documentation related to the incident, broadly referring to the information as “proprietary.” When a resident experiences something as serious as an electrical fire in their home, I would expect management to be proactive, transparent, and helpful—not leave the resident repeatedly chasing basic information while dealing with displacement and damaged belongings. The quality of an apartment building is not just the amenities or how things look when everything is going well. It is how residents are treated when there is a serious problem. Based on my experience following this fire, the support has been extremely disappointing.
