This property offers a desirable location, with many residents appreciating its proximity to the Atlanta Beltline and various local amenities. Many students highlight the helpfulness of some staff members, particularly during the move-in process and with maintenance requests, contributing to a pleasant living experience for some. However, a recurring concern among residents involves inconsistent property maintenance, including issues with common areas, pest control, and frequently malfunctioning amenities like elevators and parking gates, which can impact the day-to-day living experience and overall value.

I have been a resident of Glenwood Park Lofts for several years and I absolutely love the community here, especially with the Atlanta Beltline being within walking distance. During my time here, I have experienced several changes in property management, some more positive than others. A few years ago, I seriously considered moving because the grounds were no longer being properly maintained, routine maintenance requests were taking longer than usual, and my rent had increased significantly. Fortunately, improvements made over the past year under the newly Property Manager, Ms. Sade Stokes have been a breath of fresh air. Her professionalism, kindness, and quick responsiveness to my property needs played an important role in my decision to renew my lease. I sincerely appreciate her efforts and look forward to continuing to call "Glenwood Park Lofts" my home.

So I called the community because I toured about three weeks ago, and I liked what I saw. But after reading the reviews, I was very hesitant and couldn’t make up my mind about some things. I finally decided maybe I could deal with certain things just because of the location, so I came up with a compromise that I could live with. I specifically asked to see the actual unit before I applied so that I would at least know what I’m getting and what to expect. I wanted to inspect the unit before blindly applying. The property manager, or whoever she is, answered the phone. Her name was Marion. She was all nice and encouraged me to apply first before viewing because supposedly the unit won’t be available until the end of the month or maybe early September. Even though the units are showing as available on their website, which i mentioned, and Harper, the lady I toured with, told me two weeks ago that it would be available on the 26th of Aug. How does that make sense? However, Marion still encouraged me to apply first. So you want me to blindly give you my money, but you don’t want to show me what I’m getting first? I’m not comfortable with that at all. Maybe the reviews are true. They don’t take care of the units, I don’t know. But it’s starting to look like they put lipstick on a pig and call it “luxury” or whatever. To me, it’s a huge red flag if you can’t even see the unit before you rent it. Most communities don’t have a problem letting you see the actual unit if it’s available. It's just not economical to keep throwing money away or put money toward something i may not like, then have to hassle to try to undo or get my money back. Im of the belief that if a community really wants to earn my business, they should have the unit ready for viewing and ready to lease. i thought this was common unless someone is still living in it and they genuinely need time to turn it over, which shouldn't take any more than two weeks. Red flag. Red flag. Red flag.

I rarely leave reviews, and I almost never leave a one-star review. I honestly wish there were an option for zero stars. The one star I am giving is primarily because of one of the property managers who was genuinely kind. I lived at this property for approximately four years while attending medical school. When it was time for me to leave for residency in another state, I terminated my lease and made arrangements with the management office regarding my departure. I specifically provided a forwarding address so that any remaining balance, termination fees, or other correspondence could be sent to me. I have emails documenting these communications. Despite this, I NEVER RECEIVED ANY BALANCE OR NOTIFICATION BUT THESE PEOPLE SENT A BILL TO COLLECTION IN MY NAME. I even contacted the office multiple times after moving out to inquire about any pending balance, but to no avail. More than a year later, while applying for housing, I discovered that a collection account had been placed on my credit report. I was extremely distressed. It caused significant delays and difficulties in securing housing and negatively affected me at a time when I was trying to establish myself professionally after medical school. I am still seeking legal counsel regarding how this matter was handled. I want to be fair: there are some very nice property assistants and leasing staff at this property. However, based on my personal experience, the overseeing management group is grossly incompetent especially in the way they handled my case

Living at Glenwood Park Lofts has been such a wonderful experience, and it truly comes down to the incredible team here. Sade, Harper, Maryam, and Anthony don't just manage a building—they build a real community. They are deeply tenant-centered, community-driven, and work seamlessly together to keep our home safe, clean, and welcoming. Right from day one, they went out of their way to make my move smooth and stress-free, answering every question and concern with genuine care and incredible speed. I couldn't ask for a better team to be in charge of making this community a desirable place to live. Everyone seems to know, and understand their role and work together to make this a beautiful community. Thank you for making my experience from the application process all the way to move in day easy and stress free.
