Many residents highlight the spacious apartments, family-friendly atmosphere, and a strong sense of community as major positives, often praising the responsive and helpful staff who contribute to a pleasant living experience. While day-to-day maintenance requests are generally handled efficiently, some prospective tenants and current residents have experienced difficulties reaching the office by phone or getting consistent communication regarding applications and property access.

East Ridge Park Apartment Review When I first moved into East Ridge Park, everything seemed good. The experience started off positive, and I was satisfied with the apartment. But by the second and third year, my experience changed completely, and things really started going downhill. One of my biggest concerns was the lack of professionalism and respect for residents’ privacy. There were times when I felt like staff knew too much about residents’ personal business, and I was uncomfortable with information being discussed with other tenants. I also had concerns about people entering or coming in and out of my apartment without me being properly aware. At times, it felt like there was more interest in seeing what residents had inside their apartments than actually providing good customer service. Maintenance was another major issue. My air-conditioning filter was not changed as it should have been, and getting maintenance concerns addressed could be frustrating. There always seemed to be difficulty keeping maintenance workers on-site, which made it harder for residents to get problems handled in a timely manner. Another serious concern I had was what I believe was black mold in the apartment. When I brought up my concerns, I felt like instead of taking the issue seriously and addressing it directly, staff tried to use what felt like reverse psychology to make the situation seem like it wasn’t as serious. In my experience, this was not just an isolated concern, and I believe many apartments had similar problems that needed to be addressed. The assistant property manager was okay at first, but the more I dealt with her, the more I felt she was responsible for carrying out the property manager Melissa’s decisions, including the difficult conversations and enforcement actions. I also felt there was favoritism when it came to certain tenants. It seemed like some residents could get away with more than others, while tenants who spoke up, asked questions, or complained about serious issues could suddenly find themselves being scrutinized over the smallest things. After I started reporting my concerns, I felt like little things began being used against me. That type of treatment can come across as very unprofessional and retaliatory. At the end of the day, attitude and honesty go a long way when you’re dealing with people who are paying to live in your property. Residents deserve to be treated with respect, their privacy should be respected, and legitimate maintenance and safety concerns should be taken seriously. I believe Cortland has some very nice properties, but having nice properties means nothing if the people representing the company provide poor customer service or make residents feel disrespected. Overall, based on my personal experience, I would give East Ridge Park 2 out of 5 stars. My advice to management would be simple: listen to your residents, communicate honestly, respect their privacy, address maintenance and safety concerns properly, and remember that a professional attitude can make a huge difference in someone’s experience living in your community.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents and boost the rating a little bit because I absolutely love my apartment and the community is nothing like it used to be. The apartments are spacious and the community is kid friendly. It’s not perfect but if you watch the news, no where in Atlanta is perfect. The personnel on site are really doing the best they can with the people they serve in this community. The people who reside on this side of town are very challenging to say the least. My neighbors have complained about crime but fortunately, this is not my experience. I am very grateful for my home and I plan to stay as long as I can afford to.

Both Keisha and the pregnant young lady has a very nasty attitude! Loud mouth and upset because someone wants to inquire about an application that hasn’t even been looked at yet . Why would you even take money from someone knowing that your property manager hadn’t been in the office since Last Thursday? Ridiculous

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “I recently moved in, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The office staff has been welcoming and responsive, and everything was ready when I arrived. The community is quiet, the grounds look great, and the whole move-in experience has been smooth. Thanks to the team for making the transition easy!”
