I love it here! My unit is lovely. The community is friendly. The grounds are kept in great condition and maintenance is very responsive. The location is close to everything. Out of all the places I’ve lived, Avonlea is definitely my favorite! 7 month resident.

This is a very safe and desirable place to live. When I rented my apartment, it was completely renovated, with everything new. It's situated on a wooded lot along Rottonwood Creek and the Bob Calen walking trail. You can easily walk to Braves Stadium, which is near I—285 and I—75, and it's close to East Cobb and Vinings. The owners and management company are excellent. The maintenance team responds quickly, and I never experience delays. The office staff is fantastic and welcomes dogs. They also organize activities for residents. I highly recommend this place!

Jallo is amazing, always very timely and professional work- love the maintenance team here!! *Update as of March 2026 While I have enjoyed my stay here thus far (moved in March 2025), and continue to give praises to the maintenance team, the water issues in the complex, in particular building 3000, have been unacceptable. There are disruptions in water usage seemingly every week, if not MULTIPLE times per week. We will receive text messages 20-30 minutes before water shut off, forcing residents to move their daily routine/ plans to accommodate not having running water. I have also made several complaints about the smell in my unit which I believe is 100% related to the pipes, and a wonderful maintenance member came out and agreed with me. This is a constant occurrence and extremely inconvenient. I recently renewed my lease due to work proximity and of course that included a rise in rent and monthly expenses, though I’m not sure why these increases are not fixing whatever issue is happening with the water. When something is labeled as a “water maintenance repair” you would assume that repair would fix the issue, only to have the same “water maintenance repair” a few days or weeks later. I’m not sure if anything is actually being done, if resources are being allocated to fixing these issues, or if it’s simply temporary bandage work. Either way it is a headache to deal with and I probably won’t be renewing again.
