Central Place at Winter Park

Wonderful experience getting into Central Place. Peggy Wisler helped us every step of the way from the moment we found it online, through the virutal tour and all the way to getting our final signatures when we arrived. Phenomenal customer service! Thank you so much Peggy for making us feel welcomed and taking extra great care of us.

This communication is in response to the review given by Yarinnette Ortiz Broshi giving a complaint about Central Place at Winter Park Apartments. They have done absolutely everything they can to help our family from day one. Even though there was a negative background for their father. My husband. They worked with us by showing compassion and complete consideration for the situation at hand. They were also very accommodating in helping us transfer once my husband ended up in the hospital recently. Our unit is currently in the 2nd floor and my husband was unable to go up the stairs due to his recent heart condition and Central Place provided us with the opportunity to transfer with no transfer fee and they honored the same rent rate we currently have even though the rent on the offered unit had been higher. The staff at Central Place Apartments were very empathetic to our situation and accommodated us to the best of their ability and I am very grateful for their help even though due to his family’s influence he decided to break the lease.

First off, Peggy W. will keep you on track to pay deposits, understand your lease agreement and set up mailing, etc. She will greet you every time with a warm tone and willingness to help. Leila will listen, validate your thoughts and, direct you to the right person and/or resources while maintaining the calmest voice. Eric, maintenance supervisor will come to your aid as soon as you need him. Elisa is THE boss lady- Maintenance supervisor galore. This lady walks and talks like a boss. She will walk in, ask you what you need, get it fixed herself if needed, and make calls to get things done for your apartment. I had a concern about moisture in the vents, and she took all necessary steps to get us taken care of. She is also very knowledgeable about the city and its surroundings. The view is spectacular. The grounds are very, very, very well kept. I noticed, even the outside trash bins were in order. This morning, they were cutting the hedges. This place... I tell you... it's one of the best that I have seen. I have not met all the staff, but based on the ones I met, this place gets an A in my book.

I had a great experience at Central Place at Winter Park. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and well-maintained. The facilities are clean and well-organized, which shows the team’s dedication. I especially want to highlight Vanesa, who assisted me with professionalism and kindness. She was very patient in answering my questions and made sure the entire process was clear and hassle-free. Her excellent service made the experience even better. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and a pleasant environment. Thank you, Vanesa, for your outstanding attention!

I wish the management were more transparent when asked about their policy to return the deposit when the lease ends. We asked specifically about this a month and a half before moving out and were told that if we leave the apartment clean that the deposit would be returned. I was skeptical but not too concerned as the deposit is only $200. Still, I pride myself on leaving a place as good or better than I found it. My son and I spend several hours deep cleaning everything and are confident that it was better than when he moved in. Two days after moving out, the management sent an email informing us that we would receive $29 of the deposit back. Though not an uncommon practice, it is unethical and because of this we would not recommend this apartment complex.
