Tortoise One

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Tortoise One and its management team. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, tremendously safe, and truly feels like home. The amenities are just the cherry on top. I happily renewed my lease and plan to do so again in the future. Johanna, the property manager, is exceptional—professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in her residents. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone feels valued. Her dedication and kindness make all the difference. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well and truly do care about your happiness as a tenant. If I could give 6 or more stars, I would. If you’re able to snag a unit at Tortoise One, do not hesitate! I promise you will not be sorry.

From the moment I met Johanna and Katelyn, I knew Tortoise one was the place for me. I’m a new tenant ( moved in March 19), and everyone is so kind and welcoming. Johanna made everything go so smoothly, she’s wonderful. Katelyn also assisted me with my move and a shout out to her. I love how everything is very centrally located and my apartment is awesome, love living here. Thanks again Johanna and Katelyn!

If you want a “luxury” overpriced building in downtown West Palm, you found it. Tortoise one claims to be luxury but you can never find parking with the constrained parking and lack of assigned spots. If you want an assigned spot fork over another 150 bucks. If you live with a partner in a 2 bedroom you have to pay even more money for a second parking spot. There has been 5th floor parking construction for almost a year ? Making it even harder for residents to park. If you have a friend come over it’s hard to get them a guest pass. You have to go find the security guard who is never at the desk, and if you find them they give it to you for an hour or two. Be careful they will try and boot your car. I have to tell my friends to try and find street parking and pay since it’s not worth guest parking at Tortoise One. Very disappointed. They couldn’t rent out their apartments to local residents so they made a deal with Palm Beach Atlantic so now there are basically college dorms in the building. If you are excited to leave the building to go hang out with friends or maybe you just want to get to work on time, don’t worry the garage gates are constantly broken and make it challenging to leave the building. For 6 months they had a resident access garage gate open (you could walk through) but blocked so that’s cars couldn’t leave through. This compromising resident security and convenience.They didn’t fix it until I wrote them a strongly worded email. Then they fixed it and claimed they were working on it for months… sure. Then it broke not a day later. It’s still broken today. Maybe they are trying to make it to a year broken. Then a week later both gates were broken and trapped residents in. No one could leave! I tried to have a going away party for friends and we were threatened to have the property manager come and kick us out of the “SOCIAL LOUNGE”. This was at 7:30 on a Saturday night. So don’t try and have fun either you aren’t allowed to be social in a social lounge. Their “tech advanced” Latch system while it works for your own apartment door (edit.. now it doesn’t even work for my own apartment, and I have to wait minutes to open up my own door) , the system isn’t great when trying to access other doors in the building. Half the gates either don’t work or take minutes or multiple attempts to open. They left a side door unlocked and compromised the building to anyone who wanted to come in. Then they fixed it and now it’s locked and won’t let residents in. Very disappointing place to live especially for the price they charge.

i’ve had a great experience living here! the community is well kept and feels like home. the leasing process was super easy, especially working with katelyn. she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and made everything feel smooth and stress free from start to finish. any questions i had were answered quickly and clearly. overall i’m really happy with my decision to live here and would definitely recommend!!

Luxury Apartments at its finest! I stopped in to view a 2-bedroom. I learned that the community just opened two weeks ago. While not completely finished the community really shows well. The community consist of two buildings which are attached by an indoor air condition walking bridge. From the closest shelving to the countertops, the options chosen are top-quality luxury. My favorite amenity was between the resident market and the meditation room but there are so many amenities you may find your own.
