I have lived at Summit West Apartments for two and a half years, and the difference since the new management took over has been incredible. Property Manager Raquel is truly amazing and has completely stepped up the property in every way. Under previous management, things were far less organized and not nearly as responsive. Now, there is no more garbage piling up before trash day, and maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The phone is always answered, and you actually feel like a valued resident instead of just a number. Raquel brings a personal touch that was missing before. You are greeted with a smile, and she genuinely cares about the residents and the community. She even offered me a lease renewal at $150 less than the previous management, which really shows how much she values keeping good tenants. If I were buying a home right now, I would honestly never move. This is hands down the best place to live, whether you are single or have a family. I highly recommend Summit West Apartments.

Under new Management of Raquel Spears who is unprofessional and very nasty to her paying residents. She does not have respect or care for her community as she opens residents Amazon packages and calls it ,“being nosey”. She also has a very harsh towing rule but did not send a policy of what you can and can’t do therefore you can prevent your car from being towed. They are more of a dictatorship than a loving, caring, and sensitive community. Please be mindful if you would like to move here because it can be good for now but later it gets worse. Lack of communication and respect is not where you want to raise your kids !

This could easily be a five star review except for one major issue. I have lived at Summit West for almost a year and genuinely enjoy the community. The staff who are on property are friendly, professional, and always quick to respond to maintenance requests. This review is not about them. My concern is with the mandatory internet service that residents are required to pay for through our lease. Every resident is charged $70 per month for Gigstreem internet as part of our rent. We cannot opt out of this fee, even if we choose to purchase internet from another provider because the service absolutely unreliable. In fact, today is July 11, 2026, we had a property wise outage for 18 hours on July 2 and another property wide outage that started yesterday, July 10 and it is still going on at 6 PM on July 11. This is not just unreliable it seems that ARDG capotal has chosen the cheapest worst Wi-Fi package and forces us to use it and pay for it and will not offer credit or refunds or allow us to opt out. Unfortunately, Gigstreem has experienced repeated property-wide outages. Just one simple search of gigstreem you will find multiple residents forced to use them on Reddit, Trust pilot, etc. discussing their horrible service and long delays in fixing service interruptions. During these outages, residents lose access to streaming services, smart home devices, online banking, schoolwork, video calls, and countless other everyday necessities that depend on reliable internet. I have paid my rent in full and on time every month since moving in and have been a responsible tenant. The only reason I am seriously thinking about NOT renewing my lease when it comes due is the mandatory internet service. If residents are required to pay for a specific provider, that provider should be reliable. If it cannot provide dependable service, residents should at least be given the option to opt out and choose another provider without continuing to pay for both. I sincerely hope ARDG Capital reviews this issue. Summit West is a wonderful community, with new ownership they have improvements already and this is the one issue that could cause an otherwise happy resident not to renew.

I moved here 1 month ago. Most reviews are talking about the old management. I can safely say, disregard those! The new management company is on site and the office staff is amazing. Rochelle in the office is amazing. I will be honest and say that you can expect the rent totals to be higher than listed. You pay for parking, you pay for a parcel locker whether you use it or not. You pay around $40 a month for trash but it's not valet trash. You pay for a tech Internet package whether you need it or not. It is higher than spectrum or verizon. You pay pet rent each month. Outside of that I have found the place to be quiet and peaceful. Maintenance is phenomenal. They even work on the weekend if something is truly needed. The pools are always clean and available. The fitness center has been renovated and is great.
