The Venetian Student Living

Paying rent to have a broken dish washer and a WiFi that doesn’t work. They brand themselves as luxury student living but that could not be further from the truth. The WiFi cuts out every 15 minutes, I’ve been thrown off exams because the WiFi cuts off. Overall experience here is honestly pathetic. The price is cheaper than other options for a reason but honestly for what you’re getting it should be even cheaper. The unit was disgusting when we moved in. There have been various cases of roaches in the apartment. The hallway is filthy, there are stains all over the floor and walls. If you are even considering moving here, go check out other options even if you have to pay a little more. It’s not worth the stress and inconveniences that come with this cheap rent.

I have been living at the Venetian for 3 years now, and I have to admit that it wasn't always good. Work orders used to take a long time before they would be completed. Also, we struggled with bug problems for the longest time. This can be a recurring issue for some apartment lots. However, the new management has really changed the apartment complex for the better! You can tell that they are trying their best. The new maintenance team is on top of work orders and does a great job overall. The front office staff is friendly and accommodating. For the rate you are paying this place is a good deal. Finally, I have to say that I've been blessed with some amazing roommates. Shoutout to Candy, Lisa and Ricky! P.S. If any of the Venetian staff is reading this review, please take a look at my window since it doesn't stay open. I'd really appreciate it :)

My son hasn't moved in yet; he's due to move in the fall semester. However, I wanted to leave this review because of the excellent service we received during the lease application process. The staff, and especially Heather, have been very helpful and patient. If this is a good indication of what my son's experience will be like once he starts living there, I feel reassured and confident that he'll be in good hands.

Great place to stay.

When Heather the property manager and Derrick the maintenance manager arrived here, they professionally and kindly addressed all issues in our unit that were the fault of neglect from previous management and maintenance. Heather and Derrick exceeded all expectations and have been proactive in making the whole property better. Both are beyond qualified with years of experience, and considering the upgrades and troubleshooting necessary, they completed work with dedication and patience despite a large work load. Both Robert and Noah that also did repairs (especially plumbing and drywall!) are very skilled, and just as respectful of residents. They even took the time to do amazing clean up! They, as a whole team, make this a safe and joyful place to live. They are all just as kind to the resident pets too! (Very pet friendly property.) I hope the property owner and the corporate property management company does everything they can to keep all of them here. Many residents are grateful for this place!
