I have been living at the Venetian for 3 years now, and I have to admit that it wasn't always good. Work orders used to take a long time before they would be completed. Also, we struggled with bug problems for the longest time. This can be a recurring issue for some apartment lots. However, the new management has really changed the apartment complex for the better! You can tell that they are trying their best. The new maintenance team is on top of work orders and does a great job overall. The front office staff is friendly and accommodating. For the rate you are paying this place is a good deal. Finally, I have to say that I've been blessed with some amazing roommates. Shoutout to Candy, Lisa and Ricky! P.S. If any of the Venetian staff is reading this review, please take a look at my window since it doesn't stay open. I'd really appreciate it :)

Extremely frustrating living here. Honestly I should’ve expected how it would look because of the price, definitely tour here before signing a lease. The unit itself is extremely spacious which I really appreciate. Upon moving in, the unit was disgusting and roach filled. We had to request to spray for multiple weeks. Maintenance was bad at first but the new team is so much better. They come as soon as there’s a request and fixes it. I’m pretty sure they came under new management and the staff is super kind but the complex itself is just.. dirty.

Super fast at problem solving! The staff are nice and get to you right away. Chasity helped me almost immediately with getting a replacement microwave in my unit. Super friendly and caring.

Edit: New edition to this previous review I wrote a few months ago since I can't seem to write another for some reason. 1. I just changed my 4 star review to a 5 star. The 4 star was originally because we had to start paying utilities suddenly after the 4 years I've lived here. I had assumed that the utilities would be outrageous just as it was at another apartment but it hasn't been bad! It's reasonably priced and doesn't make a huge difference on the rent I'm paying. Also the new staff has really made living here all the better. Heather, who is the current manager for the property, has been the most accommodating and understanding manager yet. For my personal protection I won't give personal details but Heather, only having been here has made my decision to stay here more sure and I feel like I am in safe hands with this her and this staff. Note to Heather: Don't leave girl! The Venetian is great honestly—I’ve lived in Tally for a bit now and it’s been the best so far. The staff, Jada and Remi, create a good environment so that makes it so much better when you’re trying to communicate anything because nobody likes a combative leasing staff. I only gave it 4 stars because we’ve had the same messed up couch for 2 years and I’ve had to keep asking the leasing manager (2 actually since there’s been several changes) with no update. Also because now we have to pay utilities after 3 years of being here and I’m sickkk to my stomach 😭 but I digress.

I must tell you that several months ago I was livid about my daughter's situation at The Venetian Student Housing in Tallahassee. I would call or personally go by with questions regarding my daughter's apartment and property concerns that I had. The former management team was dismissive at best. However, as management changed and Heather Woller became the community manager, I have seen a most positive change in the way this property has been managed. Heather allowed me to share my concerns and then she and her team TOOK ACTION to address my concerns. If you want an improving property with a management and maintenance team dedicated to providing a very good situation for your living space at FSU, I am today happy to endorse Heather and her team at The Venetian!!!
