The Savoy at Southwood

The property is clean, secure, and issues are promptly addressed. I always appreciate the friendly staff at the clubhouse desk. Magnolia is always helpful and kind.

My experience here was awful. To start, when we moved in, the garage smelled like cigarette smoke. I put in a maintenance request and put in the specific primer needed to get rid of smell. They resolved this by not using the primer and instead using a deodorizer in which the smoke smell came back 2 days later. The front office did not answer calls for two days and due to going out of town and not being able to move the items in the garage, I did the work myself. I then had to fight with them to even be compensated for it and was told to call the emergency maintenance line next time, in which the number is not posted anywhere. On top of this, our sink pipe bursted, filling the apartment with water a few weeks after. A few months after that, our AC went out and it took them over 24 hours to put in a window unit. It took a week to fix the AC. Then, a few months after this issue, I woke up one morning with the apartment flooded. Water was filled all throughout the bedroom, seeping from the floorboards. Emergency maintenance was called and nobody responded. They were called again and finally we got in touch with someone. I also waited at the office for someone to show up to try and get help that way. Magnolia was 30 minutes late to work that day and was little help when I was able to tell her about the issue. Turns out it was the apartment next to us that flooded due to a bursted toilet and the water caused damage to three apartments. We took time to clean our apartment and the one with the bursted toilet as our neighbor was able to get in due to them being friends. It took 7 hours from the time we notified them until someone showed up to help. On top of all of this, front office Magnolia and management above her lack organization and proper communication. Numerous times issue were presented and Magnolia had little to no idea what to do or provide a reasonable response to the issue. We notified three separate times about a car being parked in front of a stop sign, as there were close collisions in these three instances with other cars due to that vehicle parked there. Magnolia stated that she would handle it, however, that car is being parked there to this day. For the price that rent is, this place is defiantly not worth it. Awful management and terrible front office staff made issues very hard to deal with.

Ms. Magnolia was amazing to work with and made the entire touring experience enjoyable. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions.

I have lived at Savoy for the last three years. My experience here was great! Great community and great common areas and staff! The location is very convenient and you have access to many locations and attractions. I recommend the Savoy at Southwood wholeheartedly!

I had a great experience touring the Savoy apartment community. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Magnolia was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions. She provided detailed information about the amenities, floor plans, and application process. This made the tour both informative and enjoyable. My availability to tour the apartment was limited; however, Magnolia selflessly endured the rain and tailored the tour to best fit my needs. Based on my visit, I would highly recommend scheduling a tour if you're looking for a new place to live. Thank you for the excellent experience Magnolia!!
