Just some of the proof I had taken prior to moving into one of the properties through Rent With Integrity. I was still charged for these items that were on my checklist that they claimed they would add to my tenant portal. They stole my security deposit from me fix these issues they never fixed that they were been supposed to have fixed. Do not trust them. I'm not sure how they got their name because they do not have any form of integrity.

AC leak- We had ongoing maintenance and management issues throughout our tenancy. One of the biggest concerns was a major AC/water leak in the back of the townhome that was reported multiple times but never properly repaired. This caused extremely high utility bills, sometimes reaching $500–$700 per month. We were repeatedly told repairs such as weather stripping and sealing gaps around doors/windows would be completed, but they never were. Water also leaked through a bedroom window during rainstorms, eventually causing mold growth, and pest issues became common due to gaps throughout the unit. Maintenance- Maintenance requests were often canceled without resolution, and communication from management was poor. At move-in, the unit already had numerous problems including damaged fixtures, loose outlets, leaks, dirty vents, mildew, damaged carpet, broken drawers, chipped counters, and other visible wear and tear. We documented everything with photos and a checklist and informed management immediately, but follow-up inspections they promised never happened. Security deposit- Despite thoroughly documenting these pre-existing issues, our security deposit was still withheld for damages that existed before we moved in. This was extremely frustrating given the condition of the property at move-in and the lack of responsiveness during our lease. Office staff/management- Very disrespectful, argumentative, and dismissive. Theresa was one of the worse ones amongst the property management team. She did not know how to speak to people properly and did not want to do her job. She stopped answering emails and if we’d go into the office to speak to her she was always somehow never there even though she’d be in her office. Calling the office was a joke because we’d sit on hold for 30 minutes and then the phone would disconnect which is crazy because when we had first moved there they were quick to answer phones and get in contact with us because they wanted us to sign their lease. When speaking to my partner, Theresa never addressed me by my name but would refer to me as “your girlfriend” even though I was on the lease and paying my half of the rent every single month. Our experience with the office staff and property management was also disappointing. Communication was often dismissive, unprofessional, and difficult, especially when trying to resolve legitimate concerns. Overall, this was a very negative renting experience, and based on how our concerns were handled, I would not recommend renting through Rent With Integrity.
