LUCA St Augustine

I had a great experience at this apartment complex in Saint Augustine, Florida. Everyone I met was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made a big difference. The staff was truly awesome—always helpful, professional, and willing to go above and beyond. The pool area was also amazing and a great place to relax and unwind. I’m very grateful for everything they did for me during my time here, and I truly appreciate the care and support they showed. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking for a comfortable and friendly place to live.

I have been patient posting a review after living here for 10 months, but I think I finally hit a point to where I have a general idea to how life at the Luca actually is. Transparency is key to finding somewhere to live, and there are definitely ups and downs to living here. The clubhouse when it is finally open is a great space, the pool is a beautiful spot and there really isn’t a point where you’re not in the sun. The recent upgrades to the pool were OK but had a little to be desired. The gym looks fantastic after the upgrade as well, but they did continue to push back the opening date a few times. I love the apartment that we live in and it has become a beautiful, peaceful space, but we recently had an upstairs neighbor move-in, and their dog’s constant barking and the inability for management to resolve the issue is painful to say the least. It feels like my privacy has been taken, and my peace has been robbed. I understand that you’re going to have dogs occasionally bark from time to time, but this dog has barked for hours on end multiple days in a row. I spoke with the tenants and they claim that the dog does not bark and when I sent video proof, I got radio silence. And because this dog is not barking during “quiet hours” (not yet) it is not considered a nuisance nor an issue. When I called the front office To see what my next steps could be after I had spoken with the tenants I was told that dogs bark sometimes and there was nothing that they could do nor could they tell me when the quiet hours were. I am currently stuck here and have to live with this for God knows how long. To also include in this, You will absolutely hear your neighbors upstairs moving from one room to the next and hear every door shut. This review is not a reflection on the leasing agents, Maureen and Chelsea. They have been nothing but a wonderful help from the very beginning to now and I know they’re doing what they can but it is above their heads at this point. I was really hoping for this to be our home for the next couple of years but there is no way to live with this for years. Update on 12/4/25 after response was made on the original review: I’m not quite sure what other information I could have added that wasn’t already communicated directly to the front office, Jennifer the community director in particular. I have reached out numerous times in regard to the dog barking and constantly being woken up at all hours of the night. I have recorded videos with timestamps and all of which has still fallen on deaf ears, no pun intended. She claims to have spoken to the tenant, but nothing has changed nor have we been even given any option as to move to a different apartment or to have them moved to a different apartment or anything really to make this situation better other than an offer for an apartment cleaning and carpet cleaning. These apartments are quickly turning into a dorm style living community and while some people may want to relive their college years. It is not somewhere to bring a family, even if only for a passing moment. Wealthy college children will always have the upper hand. Also including the videos of the noise one can expect if not living on the third floor.

I’ve lived here for a little over a year and it’s been a great time. Had a lot of minor maintenance requests, but the team was quick to respond and fix the issues each time. I’m a particular guy and I ask a lot of questions, and Maureen has been beyond helpful throughout my time here at Luca. The remodels in the gym, pool area, and clubhouse really make it feel luxurious. Overall great time :)

The entire leasing team was absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire process. Moving can be stressful, but they made the application and move-in experience remarkably smooth. They were patient in answering all my questions and ensured I understood every step. Their enthusiasm for the property is infectious, and it’s clear they truly care about finding the right home for new residents. ​The Property Manager deserves immense credit for the excellent operation of the community. What truly sets this property apart is the ongoing service and responsiveness. Any maintenance request I've submitted has been handled quickly and efficiently. Communication is always clear and proactive regarding community updates. You can tell they run a tight ship—the common areas are immaculate, and the manager is attentive to resident needs, making everyone feel valued. ​If you are looking for a community where the staff is dedicated, responsive, and makes you feel truly welcome, look no further. Love living in this luxury apartment homes!!! The leasing agents are amazing. Maureen and Staff are professional and very warm! I look forward to seeing them every week. They have made my relocation from the west coast easy, affordable and fun!!!
