West Oaks Apartments

I came in for some papers for the floorplan and a black lady I'm black too A black lady was on the phone and see notices me. Instead of putting her call on hold she continues her conversation with her significant other about how her last job fired her from her night shift. She is a HORRIBLE example as a worker. Personal calls are for after-hours.

This was my first place to live on my own with my son and I have to tell you that at first I was a little scared. But as soon as my life went on it was great! The neighbors were great, the staff was helpful and I just moved cause I started making more money and found a better place for just a bit more money. Also they didn’t approve me to stay another year! I would recommend it for anyone starting!!

Lived @ West Oaks on West Colonial Drive in 1999-2001. The management team was fantastic! The grounds were clean & gorgeous. Pool & amenities were always well cared for. This part of Orlando isn’t the safest but I’m not sure there are ANY areas in or near Orlando that one would consider “safe”. We moved from Massachusetts (10 minutes outside of Boston, MA). Where we moved from was considered safe. 8 miles outside of the city in MA is very different than 8 miles outside of Orlando. Keep doors & windows locked & always watch your back, never walk alone, etc. and you’ll be ok living @ West Oaks.

Come on people what do you want? These people have put new roofs , new asphalt, landscaping , paint and a new mail area over the last two years. As far as bugs come on people you live in a Apt complex which does have nasty people who could care less if they have bugs , So do you part to help control bugs . Sad but true! The staff here are very friendly and very helpful , The manager goes over and beyond to help you with anything you need.. And as far as maintenance goes they are awesome . Please remember things happen that they cant control and its not their fault , they have to take priority called before others.. All i can say is do you part when living in Apts. in Florida..

I stayed here from 2/2015 until 5/2016. I can't say I really have anything bad to speak on. The front office staff were always nice to me and handled any work orders in a timely manner. While I was there they have made great efforts to make the apartments more homie. Put down plenty of sod, repaved the parking lot and more. As long as you hold up your end of the bargain they will do the same. Oh yeah I moved out in May, and it did take about a month for me to get the portion of my deposit back. Which they told me upfront anyways.
