There are far better options around the same price point for housing around UCF. If you value your sanity and peace keep looking. The units themselves are subpar and are in desperate need of refurbishment. They constantly have maintenance issues and often infestations. The leasing office is little to no help, it’s almost like they care more about there social media presence then the quality of life for there tenants. I can not wait to move in the fall.

Pay over a grand a month to live in a roach invested mold box, your tires get slashed on property and The Verge doesn’t do squat even when the police come into the office. Doesn’t care about the safety of their tenants, only see the 18-24 year olds that live here as DOLLAR SIGNS. If your child wants to sign here think twice, they will not be protected, safe, or taken seriously about any concern.

It’s my first time living off campus and The Verge has been a wonderful experience thus far. It’s a perfect distance away from UCF, the buses are always on time, and it is overall a friendly environment. Most importantly, I would like to highlight my favorite staff member, Danielle! She made the moving in process so easy and pleasant. My needs and concerns were prioritized and she dedicated her time, energy, and put in so much effort to make sure everything went smoothly. Truly went above and beyond. She is always present, active, and quick to help. The absolute sweetest, so easy to talk to! 😊

The apartment complex is very close to UCF and has shuttle to and from the school. Very convenient for students. The facility is good with a clubhouse for activities such as fitness, recreation, study tables and computer room. The apartments vary from 4 bedrooms to studios. As with any complex, there are always issues such as maintenance, cleanliness and neighbors. The key is to keep your home clean and advice management if there are issues. The management tries to assist as much as possible. It is best exemplified by Danielle, who works at the leasing office. I see that she tries to help the residents to her best ability. Danielle is professional and courteous, which is very comforting for a resident knowing you have someone from management tending to their needs. Overall, a decent place.

As a first year student who opted to live here with my friend in a 2x2, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this apartment AT ALL. It's cheaper than most around UCF, but IT'S STILL NOT WORTH IT. We both signed the Fall 2024 lease, and out of all the reviews that had negative experiences with roaches, we got lucky and only experienced a few roaches ever. We also got very lucky and had an apartment that was slightly free of mold, but it still smelled very musty. However, mold growth is pretty fast because my new cutting board that I only got to use within a week grew mold, so we constantly had to clean our spaces to prevent it from growing back. My first time moving in, the part that hid the closet slider fell on me, and I requested a work order for it immediately (8/18), and they fixed it a few months later. I've also had issues with water leaking from the floor above me, and put in a work order, however, nothing came of it, so I requested another one, and I pestered them about it until it got fixed. My friend's closet mirror was literally a living hazard because it was cracked from who-knows what, and it took them three months to even get a replacement and fix it. I don't even know how that passed inspection because it was cracked DURING MOVE-IN DAY. Rainwater got in from the windows before, but it was addressed really quickly. I will say that maintenance has gotten better and faster throughout the months I lived here. I also had an issue with the washing machines because they would completely soak my clothes, and I'd have to wrang them by hand before putting them in the dryer. The washing machine leaves weird black little flakes on your clothes which is super annoying to get out. The washing machine would also freak out and bounce out of the corner it is placed in and would be jutting out by the time it's done. Another issue I had was during the time we had window replacements, our apartment was left trashed and there was dust everywhere on every surface. The workers only vacuumed the bedroom floor for 20 seconds and left, but they didn't clean or move anything else back which was inconvenient because my friend and I are pretty small. They also left the detached window blind on my bed. This could just be the company's problem instead of the apartment, but I literally find this unacceptable either way. The final slap-to-the-face were charges that were slapped on us after moving out, both $50 per person ($100 total) for something we didn't even cause (or they don't have an explanation on what happened because why are we getting charged for the low quality photo of a refrigerator), and they may have done this to the resident before us because it was still there when we moved in. If we get charged for these damages, they would have to fix it, but why wasn't it fixed before we moved in? I'm actually so happy that I moved out, and I'm never dealing with this apartment ever again. This is possibly one of the worst places I could never call home. Everyday after class I dread coming back to my own apartment. I used to pray for times like the end of my lease. It was like the best birthday present I ever got this year because I'd be released from this place. Please don't put yourself through this and believe all of these 1 star reviews. It really is not worth it. Don't even bother replying to my review though because you guys don't even answer my emails. Edit: The photo of the closet mirror was added.
