okay so the station hasn't had wifi in over a week and for students that would be a PROBLEM and instead of the staff being helpful every single one of them have been absolutely nasty to anyone who calls to find a resolution. The free rent can't be that good for them to be so dismissive towards the students whose parents PAY their bills.. and the lack of urgency and professionalism is alarming especially since they are due to graduate and have no wifi to do so!!!!!

Everything looks nice during lease signing season, then once all the tenets are locked into a contract suddenly Everything breaks. First the gate, then the sauna, then the pool, then suddenly the dumpster starts piling up and things get more dirty. My washing machine has been broken for my entire lease! Normally I wouldn't leave a review, but in the last month of the lease suddenly the internet goes out for all of the tenets that didn't renew their lease. Nobody in management "knows why." This is blamed on "a power outage" even though theres power everywhere. On top of this the pool closes and the motor is broken. Still no word on a fix. Nobody has any ideas when things are gonna get fixed. Somehow its always "out of their hands". It is pretty obvious to me, this is a ploy to force out tenets who didnt renew their lease. I would advise anyone to go to the aves or nights circle. (As I've had friends who've lived there and haven't had similar problems.) Or even better, rent out a house nearby campus with some roommates. I've been paying $300 more a month than the competition. Worst part? The unit you tour is not the unit you pay for. The utilities are always $250+ even though im renting a ROOM and sharing a house with 2 other roommates. Office guy said it never goes up by more that $60. I signed up for a unit with a bigger balcony (that was also covered), and no stairs to enter. Unit i was given was completely different.

1 star is too generous, should be a 0. The WORST place you could ever live as a student. The people that run this place are despicable and the incompetent staff are even worse. I have never once lived at a place that treats you worse than you would cockroaches (Keep in mind there are cockroaches in every house in this filthy community). Not to mention the black mold in the air vents as if we were in the worst parts of cuba and no power or WiFi on and off CONSTANTLY like we are in the favelas of BRAZIL! They don’t care about anyone living here and if you do, you are treated worse than dirt and gunk on the bottom of their shoe. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND CHOOSE ANY PLACE ELSE AROUND UCF.

Would give 0 if I could. I originally signed to a 4x4 and completed my lease. I was forced out of that lease and had to take up a 5x5 as The Station could not roommate match me. Rooms were not cleaned upon move in. Refrigerator was full upon move in with moldy food. Cat bowls/food found all over unit and none of the current renters are pet owners. WiFi goes out constantly and currently has been out for a week. During the latest outrage I was told to go to Starbucks to complete homework. AC goes out often too, and Orlando is regularly 90°+. My unit fire alarm got set off and would beep constantly for at least a week and a half after the property screwed up a scheduled maintenance, and proceeded to threaten me with a charge because I “tampered” with it. This accusation was only dropped when the fire department got involved per my request. Again I must stress this was not fixed for a week and a half and we had to deal with constant beeping throughout that entire time. I filed 3 emergency complaints with the fire service provider, as well as a few maintenance requests with The Station, they did not take this seriously. The rooms are nice, but are given the landlord special and the modern appeal drops after a month of living here once you realize how many fundamental flaws the station has. AC filters were not changed a single time I lived here to my knowledge. Pool/golf sim is constantly out of service. Trash compactor is often full to the point of over spilling into the street. NONE OF THIS REVIEW IS HYPERBOLE OR DEFAMATION: I have the receipts. Bottom line, don’t let this review stop you from renting here, if you’re comfortable paying 1000+ for a single bedroom in a 5x5 in which you rarely have the amenities advertised, rent away. My two cents: College Station would be a better rent. Period dot.

You are going to be paying for shit WiFi that is unstable, also unstable power, incompetent staff, and a slow service. Not to mention the sudden changes that they never warn you about that can take a long time. They send inaccurate emails to the whole complex but act like they know nothing about it. The gunshots that they don't tell you about that go off for a week twice a year nearly got me shot by one. My favorite was when we had a roommate who was screaming every night and during the day, saying repulsive sexual stuff so loud that my roommate could hear it through the walls. We had evidence, showed them, and they did nothing at all. They won't tell you any of this. If you think it's worth spending thousands on sending your child here due to schooling, or if you want to live here, spend your thousands elsewhere. This place looks pretty on the outside but its all just looks. I lived here for three years. The last two were a miserable experience. Never expect good or decent customer service here. The maintenance team is the only good part of this place.
