I would give this community zero stars if that were an option. I have lived here for two years and can confidently say this has been one of the worst residential experiences I’ve ever had. The trash area is consistently overflowing, with garbage piled to the top and left to sit for extended periods of time. Additionally, despite maintaining a clean apartment, I have dealt with recurring roach infestations. Management requires residents to submit pest control requests, yet on multiple occasions, those appointments were either missed or never followed through on. Residents should not have to repeatedly beg for basic pest control in a property that charges premium rental rates. Safety is another serious issue that is continuously ignored. Access to amenities, including the gym, appears to be poorly controlled. It is not uncommon to see individuals without key fob access simply knock and be let inside by others. As a result, I no longer feel safe using the amenities in the evenings. This is especially concerning in what is marketed as a gated community. Vehicle break-ins are an ongoing problem, and the front gate is frequently left broken or nonfunctional, allowing unrestricted access to the property. At that point, calling this a “secured” community is misleading at best. For the amount residents are paying to live here, it is unacceptable to feel unsafe in your own home or to deal with preventable sanitation and pest issues on a regular basis. Prospective tenants should seriously reconsider before signing a lease here.

One star is too generous for how bad this complex is. Upon entering, you might be pleased to see the central lake, the lake behind it, and some of the amenities, but it's all just a facade. The problem is the poor maintenance of both the common areas and the apartments. The first year, I overlooked some of the problems I saw in the common areas, but after renewing my lease, it seemed like all the other problems suddenly appeared. I reported the A/C malfunctioning 5 times, and I even had to spend an entire night without A/C because the maintenance person never showed up. The apartment has ceiling fans, but in the middle of summer, they only blew hot air. Once, they told me they were going to install a portable air conditioner, which never arrived. The more I went to the office, the less attention they paid to my case. Thanks to Mr. Muhamed, who explained the problem to me, I was able to anticipate when the A/C would break down and call for repairs, which usually happened the next day. Then there are the common areas. Even though they send emails informing residents of the trash collection days, many neighbors ignore them, and the trash can sit outside for up to 3 days, generating bad odors, attracting pests, and allowing squirrels to make a mess. On top of that, the person who collects the trash doesn't pay much attention to how they do it and drags the bags down from the 3rd floor, staining the stairs with dirty water. One day, we asked the office if they could have the building's floors cleaned, and they told me it was done every 6 months (I lived there for 2 years and never saw them cleaned). On another occasion, they assured me that the maintenance person was pressure washing the building next to mine and that they would then come to mine. I didn't see them at the building next door, nor did they come to mine. I'm sharing some recently taken pictures, where you can even see a pair of panties on the stair railing, and they've been there for 5 days as of today. I can't wait for my time to come so I can move out of this mess.

I’m starting to doubt whether I should renew my lease here. The property has a serious trash problem, and management seems too lenient with tenants who don’t respect shared spaces. Trash and dog waste are often left around the community. While I feel this is partly a management issue, there are simply too many residents who treat the property poorly. The community has nice amenities, but walking around is not pleasant.

Well, let me try to give an honest review of Northbridge at Millenia Lake. Let’s start with the positives — the location, the community grounds, and the lake where it’s nice to take a walk. We really enjoy living here, if only there weren’t so many downsides. Let me go over them in more detail: 1. Trash collection is often forgotten, but management never forgets to send reminder letters about fines for leaving trash bins outside. 2. The vacuum in the Auto Care area has been out of order for months, and it seems that no one plans to fix it. 3. Maintenance requests take a long time to be completed — yet they never forget to send you an email asking to rate their “service.” 4. The entry gates are broken most of the time and just stay open, which means anyone can drive in. As a result, it’s often difficult for residents to find parking because there are so many random cars parked inside. And the biggest issue — the complete lack of response from management and leasing office staff. You can see a nice message on their website saying that residents are always welcome to reach out with questions, but in reality, you’ll never get a reply. Even when it comes to lease renewal, you’ll face the same indifference. They’re happy to offer lower prices to attract new tenants, but loyal residents get no discount at all. In our case, they even sent something like an “early bird offer,” but the price was actually higher than what new tenants pay. I find this attitude toward long-term residents completely unacceptable, especially for those who always pay rent on time. We are now seriously considering moving out. As for whether this place is right for you — that’s for you to decide. Update: First, they took down the "Yield" sign for residents, and now they’ve put it back—though I still can’t figure out why I’m expected to open the gate and give way to random visitor cars that don’t even live here. The gate was “repaired,” but the fix lasted all of 2–3 days, and now it’s open to everyone again. Go figure.
