Do NOT move to Indigo Winter Park by McKinley. This has been the most shocking and unsafe rental experience I’ve ever had. We were forced to leave our home due to animal activity inside the walls, and management still insisted on a 60‑day notice plus two additional months of rent to leave early. Florida law requires rent abatement for uninhabitable conditions, yet they never acknowledged this and continued demanding full payment while we were displaced. They even acknowledged our unit was uninhabitable — yet offered no hotel, no temporary housing, and not even one of their furnished units. The lack of care for residents’ safety or well‑being is unbelievable. Even under “new management,” work orders were marked completed with no work done. They only took us seriously once they realized we weren’t accepting the conditions they were imposing on top of taking our money. We submitted a German roach pest control work order on July 20th, 2025, yet they now claim March 9th was the first time they were made aware. This is false — and we have screenshots from their own system. After speaking with multiple residents, we learned many have dealt with the same roach issues and eventually realized the leasing office simply does not care. People have had to handle pest problems themselves because management refuses to address the root cause. Maintenance “repairs” are just as bad. Neighbors reported their washer and dryer units literally breaking apart, and instead of replacing unsafe appliances, maintenance keeps nailing the machines together. They did the same to our kitchen drawer for months until we finally demanded a real fix. This is their pattern: patch, cover up, and avoid responsibility. Residents also shared that management makes verbal promises before lease renewals, only to deny them immediately after signing. This is not a misunderstanding it’s a tactic. The false advertising is everywhere. They claim to be a smoke‑free community, yet people openly smoke on balconies and cigarettes are scattered around the property. They promote “clean community areas,” but the volleyball court has never been maintained — it’s full of dried leaves mixed into the sand and dry dog poop. The tennis court is cracked, uneven, and also covered in dog waste, even though they claim pets aren’t allowed on it. They do nothing to enforce any rules. They claim fireworks are not allowed — also untrue. They promote a “safe environment,” yet do nothing to uphold it. Even their promotional photos look AI‑generated and do not reflect the actual condition of the apartments. When you ask for basic livable standards, they say “this isn’t a luxury apartment.” We’re not asking for luxury — we’re asking for acceptable living conditions. Ironically, their website describes the community as a “lavishly landscaped apartment home community.” They advertise grills as an amenity, yet the grills are rusted, neglected, and never maintained. The entire property is full of contradictions between what they promise and what they deliver. Communication from management has been dismissive, inconsistent, and unprofessional. There is zero consideration for residents’ safety, well‑being, or legal rights. This community is mismanaged from top to bottom, and the lack of accountability is alarming. If you value your health, safety, money, or peace of mind, do not move here.

Cheap apartments, yes, but the value is fantastic. Every apartment has its quirks and these are older units, but the maintenance is fantastic. Stan and Lenny always are the nicest, most pleasant, and helpful experts, always super engaged in solving issues. Everything in the apartment is older but when something breaks or goes wrong, the guys get you taken care of promptly. The utilities being included is also a huge plus. That elevates the value so much. I've had a bit of an issue with pests, and pest control isn't the best, so I've had to purchase my own pest control methods which have helped. Space is limited but if you're a single person, it's all you could need. I'd recommend :)

I want to give a huge thank you to Stan from maintenance for the outstanding service and professionalism. He came out quickly, diagnosed the issue, and got my hot water fixed fast. Stan was respectful, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about helping residents, and his hard work definitely deserves recognition. Thank you again, Stan!
