This community generally receives high praise for its modern, clean apartments and impressive amenities, including a great pool, gym, and social spaces, all within a convenient location close to local shops and campus. While many residents highlight the friendly and responsive staff and quick maintenance, some have experienced frustration with inconsistent management communication, occasional issues with pest control, and security concerns regarding package theft and broken gates.

Lived there for a year, one of the entry gates was always broken, cockroaches would come inside the apartment all the time(I am like OCD clean). Asked for pest control more than a few times, and they would only go, spray it twice in the kitchen and leave even with me complaining that they would come back after 2 weeks. When I first got in there, the apartment was missing a shower door handle, the shower door would not close, the toilet top ceramic was broken and inside it was very dirty and moldy, and inside the shower there was a hole where ants and other insects would come out. As for the other residents, lots of people smoking weed all the time and blasting music during the night. If you even consider living there, don’t get one on the first floor or there will be lots of insects inside your apartment.

edit as of june 2026- you will not get your mail. i have had at least 15 packages stolen and lost in this apartment including electronics, and they have cameras that they will never even use. I have had 3 packages go missing in the last week, one being from their “secure lockers” and they basically just shrugged their shoulders. I’m frustrated and tired of it, with how high the rent is here you would think they’d take better care of their residents or even show a little bit of empathy. Currently in the process of living at coda for another year! With that being said, i absolutely love it here. The staff keep everything very clean, and i have not had any real problems with my unit. I absolutely love Kim in the front office, she is amazing!! So friendly, a girls girl, and will help you with anything you need or don’t understand with a big smile!! Definitely a big asset to this community because she is an angel!! The only downside i think is an honorable mention about coda is that my car along with a few others have been broken into in the past months, which was a VERY expensive fix, and i wish they would put up some cameras in the parking lots to help with that, or at least help on the legal side of things.

I would definitely recommend CODA apartments to anyone searching for a great community in this area. It’s clean, there’s lots of shopping and activities etc in the area, there’s things to do on the property like mini golf and different areas to hang out either alone or with friends and family, the pool is clean & great grilling stations. Love having the conference room to use for working from home and unlimited coffee from the coffee bar. Staff is great! Josh is always very kind, professional and helpful. You won’t regret moving here!

I have had a disappointing experience with the management at this apartment community. Management appears to be highly responsive when enforcing minor policy violations, but significantly less responsive when residents raise legitimate concerns. For example, when I disputed a valet trash violation, management responded immediately and engaged in repeated back-and-forth communication. However, when my roommate reported ongoing excessive stomping/noise from the upstairs neighbor, management failed to provide a timely response and did not adequately address the issue even after nearly two weeks. This inconsistency creates the impression that management prioritizes enforcement and penalties over actually resolving resident concerns that affect quality of life. Additionally, communication regarding community policies has not always been clear, yet violations are enforced aggressively even when the written guidance lacks specificity. Overall, while the property itself may be acceptable, my experience with management has been frustrating due to selective responsiveness, poor communication, and inadequate handling of resident complaints. I would encourage prospective tenants to carefully consider the management quality before leasing here.

I definitely do not recommend Coda Apartments at all. Yes while the apartment looks very appealing and modern, their management SUCKS. No one ever answers their phones during business hours or emails. I’ve made several neighbor complains and they said they would deal with it and talk to the courtesy officer, and not once have they talked to the courtesy officer. I’ve been on the phone with the officer who is apart of OCSO and he said everything I’m telling him is news. The gates are constantly broken. The package room has no lock on it to get in. The watering bowl in the dog park hasn’t been working for who knows how long. Only positive thing is their maintenance team. They are very quick to coming to your apartment and fixing any issues that you put in.
