Lakeveiw Apartments is a affordable place to live, if you don't mind living with roaches, RATS, MOLD, and future respiratory issues. Extermination is once a month, which makes the roach infestation all the more uncontrollable in every unit on every floor. The rodents are not mice, they're RATS the size of my 10y.o. foot, and some residents have complained to management regarding infestations and nests of them. There is MOLD in every unit and management(Ray) just assigns maintenance to paint over it. MOLD will grow on your clothes in the closet and on furniture. Termites are a real nuisance, they fall out everywhere in the unit, especially from the exhaust fan above the stove when cooking. I had to throw a few meals away because of this issues once I realized what was happening. There are serious plumbing issues to the point where feces has and will backup in units and the parking lot in the rear of the property. The Laundry facilities provided on the 1st&3rd floors are hardly ever working, and are filthy. The maintenance crew are pretty prompt with work orders and are willing to fix things in a timely manner, but that's the problem, they're always fixing something. Instead of renovating and updating units so that residents can live comfortably, 2405 NW 135TH STREET LLC, would rather invest in the aesthetics of lawn care, painting buildings & walkways, and surveillance(that never see anything when cars are broken into and theft occurs). I'm saying if your $$$ is low or you're on Sec8 and don't mind living in these nasty conditions under SLUM LORDS of this sort. That solves property and tenant complaints with paint, spray painted appliances, fines and fees, and notices plastered all over the property, a 12hr security guard that solicits drugs to residents, and intimidation(by theft)...This is a place you could call home.

Well, I like this place because I pay less. My husband, Diogenes, and I are retiring. We've lived in this building since I got married five years ago. I've lived in many places before in Miami, Florida. I had a duplex when I lived with my two children, but now I live alone with my husband. Thank you, Gliceria Diaz Dominguez.
