Pier 5350 Apartments

I have been unhappy with this community since we moved in 2022. First, we specified to the employee that worked here that we were mobility challenged and could not handle stairs and "G" promised us we would be accommodated. We were not. Our apartment is not only UPSTAIRS, but DOWNSTAIRS as well. Unfortunately, we have not been in a position to be able to move. Then, there are the maintenance issues. The day we moved in, there was a plumbing emergency in our master bath that required them to cut the ceiling, work on the plumbing, and patch it. This became an issue later that required three visits to repair. The community water has been frequently shut off over the past three years due to plumbing issues. Our AC frequently backs up, flooding our master bathroom. The main gate doesn't work far more than it does. The mailboxes are falling apart with no repair in sight. We were promised a clubhouse the first two years we lived here only to find out it was just a fancy main office - not a space for gathering or throwing parties. We have many times been without a trash compactor, allowing the trash to collect up which is a nuisance as I live near the trash compactor. They recently inconvenienced the residents for about two weeks to repave the lot - but there are still cracks and potholes. The final nail in the coffin is that residents are asked - over and over again - to be patient and understanding of these inconveniences but - when a resident reaches out for assistance or understanding - they are immediate to mention lease terms and lawyers with absolutely zero humanity or compassion. I do not recommend Pier 5350 Apartments. Don't let the nice tone they answer the phone with fool you.

Not even a month living here and my bicycle got stolen from our porch. Also, I was told my 2 balconies and 2 porches will be screened by the time I moved; however, once I moved they told me that screening cannot be done.I picked the place because the views are beautiful and Cori is the best agent, friendly. So, far maintaince seems to be fast. Overhall this places cons and pros like many others

Front office is full of rude, disrespectful and unprofessional people as to the maintenance man who talks rudely to the residents (black male )he doesn’t do a good job fixing ANYTHING !! and they do not have the people who live here best interests PLEASE DONT MOVE HERE YOUR NEEDS AND CONCERNS WILL NOT BE MEET THEY ARW VERY UNORGANIZED AND NOT USEFUL DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, money or energy moving here you’ll regret it, they will tow your car in a heartbeat as well !!!

Trying to move in and they communicate with the roommate instead of calling me to advise of what else is needed smh.

I went to the office and stood there for about an hour. Instead of saying good afternoon and hello, the woman was gossiping on her phone.
