The Point Apartments

I loved it here a few years ago. but the crime has gotten bad in this small neighborhood. Nightly car thiefs happen each night. My ex gfs scooter got stolen on our front porch. Management is hard to get a hold of at certain times. only have one skilled maintenance guy. hard to get any work orders completed

Be careful of a scam they do at the Point. They will send you pictures of a remodeled apartment, take your deposit and then when you arrive to pick up a key the manager Christina says she made a mistake and that one is unavailable. The one she now shows you is moldy and smells of smoke. When you decline that one she agrees to refund your deposit. That was 8 months ago. She will not return calls and there is NO email on the website. The management company has no emails listed either. And all calls go to full voicemail boxes. I cannot imagine any company would be so poorly run so it must be a scam. EDITED to add as of March 2026 they have never reached out to us nor have they sent us our $500 refund. Read other reviews below. No one at the office answers the phone 😞

Perfect location

They're old buildings and they are putting new appliances in them some have them already My one bedroom does. But they're cleaning crew doesn't do a thorough job inside the drawers and cabinets. They were kind of nasty on the inside. And there's a smell but it's not overwhelming and I can take care of it. There is no way to raise the blinds in living area just close them don't know why that is. You have to request pest control in order for them to come they don't do it on their automatic basis they come every 2 weeks and you have to request when they come to have them do your apartment cuz they don't automatically do all the apartments I would recommend you do that because their old buildings in roaches can become a big problem.The outside porch light doesn't work the light over the stove doesn't work or the bulbs are out I don't know which. Is way too dark in front of the doors not to have a light working out there going to check with maintenance about all the issues but new appliances are nice and the one bedrooms and some of the other two and three's come with washer and dryer in them mine has a full washer and dryers. They're brand new fridges brand new stove is brand new sink looks redone it's nice but the cabinets on the inside I don't know those did not get cleaned very thoroughly at all other than that Christine the manager in charge she was very nice and helped me get in here when other places wouldn't take me. If you have a eviction and recently she will or she at least helped me to get in anyway but no one else would. Lost my job after 7 years and at my age of 65 it's the only bad thing on my pass in that is keeping other apartment from helping me but she did. Thank you Christina for that. It's hard to get a hold of anybody over the phone in the office so I usually just go down there because it's hardly ever answered and the messages aren't returned. Luckily maintenance is done online so I can take care of that anyway if you're a little down on your luck having eviction and not a lot to spend on rent it's a good place to start until you can establish yourself in the rental world and then you can move up if you choose to
