I’ve lived at Spyglass for 8 months and I couldn’t be happier. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. The leasing staff is always friendly and helpful, and I’ve had a great experience since day one. What really stands out is the maintenance team — they are responsive, professional, and always go above and beyond. Every time I’ve submitted a request, it’s been handled quickly and thoroughly. Whether it’s fixing a leaky faucet or helping with something unexpected, they take pride in their work and treat residents with respect. It’s a huge relief knowing that any issue will be taken seriously and handled efficiently. I truly appreciate the care they put into maintaining not just the units, but the entire property. I would absolutely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to live!

My wife, our two dogs, and I, lived in Spyglass Apartments from 2018-2023 and I loved the apartment complex. The thing that I appreciate about the complex is that the manager Lauren, she always kept the complex well maintained. It wouldn’t take but an hour if a tree had fallen, for a clean up crew to be cleaning the mess. That said, there were times in where I did not fully agree with concerns brought by the office but I know that they had to keep the rules set in place. That said, this is great place for those who want a calm and clean place to live with your pet/family.

Writing this review in hopes to help others. Reading other reviews there is a mixture of opinions. I have lived at Spyglass Apartments for two years with my boyfriend in a one bedroom apartment and it was the right fit for us. During our time, we learned things that might help others: -The apartments themselves are old for sure, but there are new amenities that they continue to add to the place. For example in the pictures our apartment had a Whirlpool fridge with a ice and water dispenser which is hard to find in other apartments (not sure if just one bedroom apartments or not). The stove top was also nice and didn't have stove top burners, but instead a glass stove top. The furniture and TV were just fine as well. However, the laundry units were not the best and often had to dry the clothes two cycles. -Some reviews I have read mention bugs and cockroaches. Even though we did have occasional ones within the two years, it was nothing out of the ordinary. However, we lived on the second floor, which I would recommend to request to limit that problem and we also lived near the tennis courts, so were not surrounded by woods as some other apartments are. Upstairs also has the high ceilings and more natural light which was nice for sure. -The maintenance team was awesome! When we put in a maintenance request, it was taken care of the next day. Also had some problems with COX cable box and called the Spyglass office and they were able to fix right away. So in terms of making sure tenants requests were fulfilled, Spyglass did great! -And of course if you have a dog, Spyglass is a great place to stay. The small fenced in dog park is shaded and has benches where you can take your pup to roam around. There is also an outdoors covered bathtub to wash your dog! We have heard that the move out fees that are taken out of initial deposit and then some are steep and many people don't understand some of the charges. Haven't completely moved out, but will update on that once we receive charges. So overall our apartment was great. We had new Whirlpool amenities, responsive staff, and a fairly good price for one bedroom when splitting with another person. I would call to specify the types of amenities in your floorpan to see. Hope this helps.

Whoa! Some full disclosure needs to be made here. Renters beware. This is a typical apartment set up for financially strapped college students. Overpriced for what you get. Model apartment is beautiful, but the apartment you actually get is filthy, worn, cheap, and outdated. Repair list is long and rarely addressed by maintenance. Therefore, repairs become the responsibility of the renter by default due to necessity and lack of property manager's attention. Office staff refuses to text you if you have a package, so it is your responsibility to check everyday for package arrival. "Manager on call" will charge $50 disturbance fee. Taking a left hand turn out of apartment complex is dangerous at best due to high vehicle traffic volume. The good thing is complex has buses that run from apartments to campus. Renters have a utility allowance which barely covers the usage level. If apartment utlilty bill exceeds the allowance, renters are charged the difference. Is this the best? No. Consequently, this will have to do when other options are not available. Renters beware of ALL the conditions and responsibilities; even the ones the sales office fails to inform you about. Update: Been living here for a week now. Out of several maintenance issues that need to be addressed, only one has been resolved by the complex. Moved out and was charged for cleaning, steam cleaning, painting, postage. But when I moved in the apartment was not clean nor freshly painted. Was the prior tenant charged and the work was not completed prior to my move in? Maybe the prior tenant was not charged, but I am. Why would that be? I was not negligent in any way to the property. In fact, I was proactive to the maintenance conditions at the time of moving in!!! IMHO, this organization takes advantage of people from sign in to sign out. Please be careful when agreeing to anything this business does. Based on my experience, the staff says one thing to get you to move in and says another when you move out.
