Arlington Square Apartments

Can remove or change based on outcome once issues are resolved satisfactorily — a car of ours stolen from their non-secured lot renters pay to park in, a broken AC the next day during 100+ degree highs, and an emergency spewing water leak on an upper floor unit not even constituting sending emergency maintenance are amongst the issues we’ve faced this weekend alone. We were forced to shut off our own water ourselves due to increasing damage to our personal property, and they claimed it must no longer be an emergency. Calling the office about whether our stolen car was accidentally towed by management earned me a long hold and some hemming and hawing “I don’t know”s, was never referred to management or anyone who could be bothered for any concrete answers. This took way too much valuable time from us in our investigation. Apparently we must STILL debate with the management office for relief, and the property manager isn’t even available in office this Monday morning to speak to us after 3 consecutive crises. Good luck to you and yours if you just signed here, we pay $2000 to live in this hot leaking circus tent. “They earned a bad review, fair and Arlington Square” - GES

Front office personnel have been very kind and helpful.

My time living here (2 years) has felt moderately unsafe. There are no surveillance cameras at any of the entrances/exits of the unlocked "gated" apartments. You would think you can keep your bike at the bike racks, but no, someone will steal your locked (through the tires and frame and around the rack) bike. Their resolution to this complaint/information was not to put up cameras, but to put a sign up in the laundry room alerting people to lock personal items inside as the property is not responsible for them. Also, when painting the outside of the doors, I got home to an open, unattended first-floor door with no notice that they would be entering my apartment. I started shouting "HELLO? HELLO? HELLO, is anyone in here?" I should have called the police to clear my apartment but I assumed maybe maintenance was inside (they weren’t). On the way to management, I looked up to see the maintenance person leaning on the balcony on their phone. I said, "Hi, excuse me, my door was unlocked, and no one was around." They said they were watching my apartment door. Attached photo is where the person was standing saying they could see my door. If they were truly watching the door, why didn't they respond to me when I was shouting into my apartment? Also, yes I got a notice that they would be painting the door, however no where on the notice does it state that they would be entering my apartment. It just alerts me to use caution when entering/exiting. Overall, just upset with the complete disregard for security and safety. The renovated units are nice, the maintenance people are very responsive, and management has been kind. The proximity to downtown is also ideal if you enjoy going out. I would just recommend having a camera to watch your front door like a Ring doorbell.
