Archer Court Apartments

Very, very disappointed with this apartment complex. I would not recommend it. I signed for what leasing described as a fully renovated unit. They showed us a renovated studio during the tour and said the other renovated units would be the same, but the actual apartment I got looked nothing like what was promised. On move-in day, even though my check-in time had already been confirmed by email, I was told the unit was not ready. The manager gave me the key but asked me to promise not to enter until later that night, which was already a red flag. When I finally got in, the apartment was in terrible condition: badly installed flooring for the whole apartment, mold, kitchen and washroom sinks needing repair, and even leaking during rain that left water on the floor and carpet. I reported these issues right away, but repairs were extremely slow and took repeated follow-up with leasing. It took about three months for things to be addressed. Then later I had a rodent problem in the apartment. I personally saw a large rodent inside, found droppings on the floor, found food that had been chewed, and saw shredded wood/debris near the cabinets. They sealed hole after I reported it, but almost every night I still hear scratching and movement inside the walls. It is loud, stressful, and has affected my sleep badly. This problem has persisted for three months but remains unsolved. This place was not what was advertised, not properly prepared for move-in, and the ongoing rodent issue has made living here miserable. Definitely not a place I would recommend, I can't wait to move out!!!

Clean safe professional student housing.

I was initially won over by their move in special and the manager at the time was respectful and trustworthy. Over the year of living here, management has been replaced several times over. I've had a lot of varied issues at this apartment complex. -Untreated drain flies -Rodents eating my walls -Sudden & inconvenient inspections -Unhelpful pest control services -Lack of ventilation (Windows do not open) -Lack of clear communication with management (ignored emails) -The landscaping crew would knock over my plants and blast my car with dirt & debris -Frequent, short-notice "inspections" It's not all doom and gloom. Parking is pretty accessible and the laundry facilities are usually clean and easy to use. All things considered, I'm excited to move out as soon as I can.

Got a notice for pest control mandatory the very next day which I find disrespectful as a resident this is our home and they just decide yeah strangers are coming inside your home the very next day no matter what sucks to suck and I can abide by that its simply wrong. Now they are doing maintenance for Monday Tuesday but can't give you a time or specific day, They also dont let you have grills anymore. Do yourself a favor and live at a different apartment. now another required maintenance walkthrough of our home like whats the point of renting a place if you cant enjoy it constant strangers invading your privacy its getting old do not ever rent here im telling you it has gotten nothing but worse over the years. ill be speaking with the office a resident decided to tamper with our laundry literally the min it was done with 2 other washer available this is unnacceptable and next time he wont make it out the laundry room.
