This community offers a generally well-maintained and quiet living environment with convenient access to amenities, beaches, and local shops, making it a pleasant place for many residents. However, some common concerns revolve around overly strict and inconsistent parking enforcement, which can be frustrating for both residents and guests, and there are occasional mentions of maintenance issues like roof leaks and pests that could benefit from more timely attention.

Great place to live, new management in the HOA has really been doing an amazing job upgrading the community.

Great place to live, been here 6 years. Management is very responsive to any issues, and the volunteer board of directors are great and holding costs down and working towards improvements. Over all a nice comfortable place to live. Other reviews may differ, all that being said you will always find some folks who do not like living under rules. These same rules are in place to protect every owners financial and personal wellness and make for a comfortable living environment.

Beautiful community with a terrible association. Second week in a row our vehicle has been tagged — even though we own the apartment and were parked in guest parking with the parking permit validated and active. This time it was Terry, showing the new security guy “how things are done.” They’re far too strict with parking when there’s always plenty of space. What’s the point of tagging a car that’s been validated through the app and we have proof of it? Focus your efforts on securing the area and making sure residents are safe instead of harassing owners over parking. To make matters worse, they change security guards constantly, so no one seems to know the rules. And while they’re quick to tag cars, I wish they were just as effective in addressing the ongoing termite issues. Totally unacceptable. Latest update: At 8:34 AM, Terry tagged our car with a Final Notice — yes, that’s his handwriting, and yes, he made sure to personally come to our car this morning. This was done even though guest parking enforcement doesn’t begin until 9:00 PM. His actions clearly show a deliberate effort to single out residents without fairness or consideration. We are clearly being targeted by him.

June 2025 - Question - Are there still rodent issues in Imperial Point Colonnades? Has maintenance of this complex improved? Can someone provide an update? Update 2022 - When I first wrote my review 4 years ago, I was hoping that some issues would be fixed. Reading the reviews that might not be the case.. I had to move from this complex due to maintenance issues. I believe this could be a great community but there are many long term issues that need addressed. The Cable provider is the least of the problems in this complex. ———————————————— I am updating my review. There are a number of comments around parking in this complex. Like most condos, perspective residents are told the rules before they buy. The parking rules shouldn't be a surprise. Like most older communities built in the 70's, this one was built with one parking space per unit. Yes, this is an issue but the current board is looking to resolve the parking issue. This is a reasonably priced, well kept place to live. No community is perfect but they are doing a good job of trying to resolve issues.
