I’ve loved living at Emera so much that I decided to write a review so anyone considering moving here can feel confident they’re choosing an incredible property. The location is absolutely gorgeous, and the property is beautifully maintained—that’s easy to see. What truly makes Emera stand out, though, is the staff. They consistently go out of their way to make this a well-run community that genuinely feels like home. I sincerely appreciate every staff member for the care they put into both the property and the resident experience. I’ve lived all around the world, and without question, this property has the best staff I’ve ever experienced. They truly make all the difference. A special thank you to Alex, Carlos, and Jairo on the maintenance team for keeping the property in immaculate condition. I've had two tiny maintenance requests, and they were completed perfectly in less than 30 minutes. Thank you to Rick and Liry at the concierge desk, who are always welcoming, friendly, and happy to answer questions or help with anything. Thank you to Allie and Hannah in the leasing office, who are consistently genuine, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Finally, thank you to the entire cleaning staff, who work incredibly hard every day and are always kind and friendly. It’s clear that everyone here takes pride in what they do, and it truly shows.

As a longtime renter at Port Royale, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Rick at the front desk on countless occasions, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is incredibly helpful and always goes out of his way to make residents’ lives easier—whether it’s handling packages, coordinating maintenance requests, answering questions about building amenities, or assisting with guest access. What really makes Rick special is how genuinely sweet and kind he is. He greets everyone with a warm smile and treats every resident like family. His positive attitude and willingness to help brighten even the busiest days. He remembers little details about people and always makes you feel truly cared for. If you live (or are thinking of living) at Port Royale, you’re in for a treat with Rick on the team. He’s one of the best parts of this building and a big reason why it feels like home. We’ve been residents at Emera Port Royale for three years and now feels like the right time to share the full picture. We’ve seen it all: a strong start, a period of decline, and now a clear turnaround. Under new management - Olga and the team, the property feels like it’s getting a second life. Renovations are underway, and, more importantly, resident feedback is being heard and acted on. Common areas are clean and well maintained. The BBQ zones deserve a special mention, even if they’re left messy in the night, by morning they’re spotless again, like magic. The office team is responsive, polite, and genuinely willing to help. Maintenance - often a weak point in many communities, is handled efficiently here. Requests submitted through the app are typically addressed quickly, often within an hour, and resolved professionally. Like anywhere, a lot depends on how you communicate - be respectful, and you’ll be treated the same way. Overall, we’re seeing real progress, and it shows.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Emera Port Royale Residence in Fort Lauderdale, and I can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable and well-managed experiences I’ve had at any residential resort property. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place isn’t just another pretty façade on the water—it’s a true home away from home, and the credit for that goes in large part to the incredible leadership of the new General Manager, Olga. Olga has completely transformed the vibe and operations here in such a short time. She’s not the type of GM who stays hidden in an office; she’s out on the property daily, greeting residents and guests by name, checking in on everything from the pool deck to the fitness center. Her energy is infectious, and you can feel the genuine care she has for both the property and the people who stay here. Under her direction, the entire staff seems more motivated, more attentive, and more proactive than ever. Little details that used to slip through the cracks—like prompt responses to maintenance requests or personalized welcome amenities—are now standard. Olga has brought a fresh, modern vision while respecting the classic charm of Port Royale, and the results are outstanding. The maintenance across the entire residence is nothing short of impeccable. Every common area sparkles: the marble floors in the lobby are polished to a mirror shine, the landscaping around the waterfront is lush and perfectly manicured, and even the smallest things (light fixtures, elevator panels, pool furniture) are always in perfect condition. My suite was spotless upon arrival—fresh linens, gleaming bathrooms, and not a single scuff or speck of dust anywhere. The engineering and housekeeping teams clearly take enormous pride in their work, and it shows in every corner of the property. I never once had to wait for anything; a quick call to the front desk and the issue was resolved with a smile and within minutes. That level of reliability and attention to detail is rare, and it made my entire stay feel effortless and luxurious. One of the highlights of my visit was the fantastic party Olga and her team hosted on the waterfront terrace last weekend. It was the perfect mix of elegant and fun—live music, delicious passed hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, and a gorgeous sunset over the Intracoastal. What impressed me most was how personalized and warm it felt. Olga was right there mingling with everyone, making sure every guest felt included, and the staff anticipated needs before you even realized you had them. It wasn’t just another event; it was a true community moment that brought residents and guests together in the best way. The turnout was fantastic, the atmosphere electric, and it left everyone raving. Events like this really set Emera Port Royale apart and show how Olga is building not just a residence, but a genuine sense of belonging. The location is unbeatable—steps from the beach, easy access to Las Olas and downtown, yet tucked away in a peaceful, private setting. The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and the views from the higher floors are breathtaking. But what truly makes this place special is the people, led by Olga. She has elevated the entire experience with her professionalism, warmth, and vision for excellence. If you’re looking for a luxury residence that feels cared for on every level—spotless maintenance, thoughtful events, and management that actually cares—look no further than Emera Port Royale. Olga is doing an outstanding job, and I can’t recommend this property highly enough. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m already looking forward to the next party she throws! Five stars all the way.
