Listen to the bad reviews. This is the worst management company you’ll ever rent from. They’re extremely unprofessional, your apartment will be dirty when you move in, and don’t bother cleaning it when you move out, you are automatically charged a $225 cleaning fee, on top of a ridiculous moving out fee, which like they say is in the lease and within their rights which no one is saying it wasn't, it’s just ridiculous. If you do choose this place, I hope your apartment is done. It took months for them to even halfway finish ours and we still got charged for things they claimed they couldn’t fix. We even had to fix our own issues because the company sucks at managing an actual group of apartments. The caulking around the baseboards is basically just outside, so even when the place is clean, it looks dirty. The neighbors were loud near the end, although I will say it was quiet for a year or two prior. Also, check the sex offender registry maps if you have children! That’s not their fault, but is something to be aware of. They’ll raise your rent while not maintaining the property. You have to pay a portal fee while also having to pay to pay your rent in the portal (there is not a free option so add that to your budget if you’re looking to rent here) which is beyond ridiculous. And just hope you don’t have a major issue like a fire, flood or ac. Our apartment flooded from our neighbors having a water pipe burst, no one came out until the next day to their apartment and NO one ever answered us or our calls. We lost all of our children’s stuffed animals and seasonal clothes and decorations and everything we had put up under our bed during that and no one ever came out nor was it ever brought up. Seeing someone else talk about the fire issue in the reviews shows me this is just a recurrent theme. Our ac was out for way too long in the heat of July and I was 7 months pregnant and had a small child and it took writing a review to get them to do anything about it. The person they contract for the ac is a jerk so just hope you never have to deal with that. This company does not care about their tenants. They are rude and only care about money. There’s a reason so many of these are up for rent right now.

I'm just ending my third year here and I must say these apartments are great. I always get to park directly in front of my unit. The office staff is great always immediately answering my requests and the maintenance staff is amazingly quick and helpful and they fix things with speed and expertise. I highly recommend Parkside as a place to rent an apartment.

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE. I Have lived here 3 weeks and already regret my decision. The property management refuses to help us in our situation with extremely loud and obnoxious neighbors. We have contacted them numerous times with videos and they still do nothing about it. Also said they would clean the apartment before we moved in which they didn’t. It’s insanely hard to get in contact with any of them without waiting a few days for a response. Actually pathetic service over here. Do not move here unless you like being treated like you don’t even exist. I wish I could get out of my lease and leave already. Miserable experience all around and the lack of consequences my neighbors face while being so loud is astonishing. After confronting my neighbor he told me if I don’t like it here then I should leave. The management asked for videos of them being loud. Which we have sent multiple videos of and still nothing has come of it. They said that they will contact them and tell them to be quiet which they didn’t. I confronted our neighbor to tell him to turn it down and that he should have been contacted by the management already and he told me that he wasn’t. So the management will just lie to your face and act like they are doing their job when in fact they are not. I would rather live in a trailer surrounded by junkies than to have to endure the incompetency and lack of affirmative action this management company displays. Absolutely brutal place to live. Disgraceful people all around. The photo is a glimpse into the kind of help you will receive from them. The neighbors next to me have also complained about them and they aren’t even connected to their unit. But we have to continue to show proof even after we have already given proof. Instead of the management telling them to keep the noise down they tell us we can move units. How ridiculous is that? Instead of doing the one thing they are there for they decide to give them special privileges. This place is PATHETIC!!!!

Great place to live

I would definitely NOT recommend renting at this location. There currently is no one managing the property and there. has not been for almost 2 years. There is no one on site the office is always empty and the only contact person never responds to phone calls. They have stopped providing lawn care and the grass is dying because they are too cheap to turn on the installed sprinkler system to water the grass that again hasn't been maintained for over a month. The property is constantly littered with trash and dog feces because theres Not anyone on site to enforce rules or provide support to residents. They outsource tasks to random unlicensed people that aren't properly screened and just leave a ring of keys to the property in a lock box at the empty office placing residents at risk. They recently had the nerve to increase the rent despite the lack of property management, care and find any reason to "nickle and dime" their residents with fees for everything including a "moveout" fee. If you have an issue or need help your lucky to get a returned phone call. A few months ago one of the units caught fire due to a faulty exhaust fan in their bathroom and the tenants couldn't get their phone call returned for days. Because there is no one on site theres constant abuse of rules and plenty of tenants just don't care or have respect for the property. Those who do "manage" the property (via cellphone) will rent to just about anyone to make a dime and the entire complex has turned into primarily section 8 because it provides their "no on-site management" style with an easy way to make money so the property has declined significantly because of it.
