Many residents appreciate the convenient location, especially its proximity to campus, restaurants, and beaches, alongside the appealing amenities like the pool, gym, and clubhouse, which often host engaging community events. However, some experience frustration with a mandatory "tech and convenience" package that frequently includes unreliable Wi-Fi and issues with trash pickup, while others note inconsistent rule enforcement regarding smoking and pet waste.

I don't write negative reviews often, but I am looking forward to my lease ending. First and foremost, maintenance is not the issue. They always complete my orders right away and are polite. I think this property has a contracting issue. Residents pay $150 a month for what they say is "tech and convenience" bundle, but it's anything but that. It would be one thing if this was voluntarily, but it's mandatory. TRASH: never gets picked up at 7 as stated when you first move in, sometimes not at all. Trash just sits in the hallways. One dumpster at front of complex that is always overfilled. WIFI: I WFH and have had issues ever since I moved in with wifi connection. We're experiencing an outage as I write this for 4 days. No accommodations, no regard for people's work. CALL BOX: Never works, gates are always broken. I could go on, but just a few of the items included in your "tech and convenience package" (that all happen to not work, yet you still pay for). Honorable mentions that we're never addressed: apartment was disgusting when I moved in (again, contracting cleaner issue), cracked walls (yes, a crack running down my first floor apartment wall), poor email communications, lack of events (don't let them sell you on community events), expect an overpriced AI food truck maybe once a week. Water shutoffs, community codes not working to your "amenities", complimentary card for beer/wine (you can just throw that away, it's never working.) "Quiet rooms/offices" have a pool speaker right outside of them, don't expect to be able to concentrate there. Positive reviews are incentivized for giveaways and move ins, consumer beware. Sign a shorter lease, don't sign a long one just for two free months.

250 dollars for the “convenience package” WiFi always turning off have the amenities are always down there’s ALWAYS A WATER RESTRICTION .definitely better apartments in the area look elsewhere I’ve been here a year. Have spent the weekend without ac because it isn’t a “emergency” multiple times . Thankfully decided not to resign my lease . These fast build apartments everything falls apart seen old apartments built better then this. MOLD IS THERE AS well HAD TO GET RID OF TWO COUCHES AND 600 dollar shoes BE AWARE.

Honestly, this apartment complex is not worth the price. Denise is the only one really keeping this place together, and maintenance is decent, but that’s about where the positives end. The girl at the front desk seriously needs to work on her attitude because the way she talks to people is unnecessary. The Wi-Fi goes out almost every week, and for paying $2,000+ a month, that’s unacceptable. Yes, the pool and gym are nice, but besides that, this place is pretty basic. I’ll definitely be leaving once my lease is up and would not recommend staying here. It’s way too expensive for what you actually get, and you can definitely find something cheaper and better elsewhere. Don’t get fooled by the photos on the website, and don’t make a rushed decision.

I lived here for 2 years, but had to move out recently due to being laid off. I loved it here and hope to move back one day. I had nothing but pleasant experiences with neighbors and staff. The minor maintenance issues I encountered were always resolved quickly. The location is hard to beat, close to Ormond and Daytona restaurants and businesses. Special thanks to Denise for making the move out process easy and transparent.

Been here for two years and one of the best places I have stayed to date! Very kind staff who was always happy to answer any of our questions or concerns. The amenities were amazing with the beautiful pool and grilling area that was always clean, clubhouse that matches the pictures perfectly, and a gym with everything you need. Drift Apartments would occasionally host holiday events that were so much fun with activities that we made sure to never miss a single one! The location was perfect being right next to the UNF campus and a short 10 minute drive to the beach!
