Ive emailed & talked to management a dozen times over the last few months about lack of care for the community and communication. They say they want to meet, then ghost me. They say they'll check out the trash problem on my block then I see them on video littering themselves. Total joke. Dont move here, the place looks awful because they dont take care of anything yet charge you an arm and a leg, and theres tons of breakins, package theives, and other crimes even as far as murder meanwhile you pay for live security.

Windwood is a really nice community and the location cannot be beat. It's close to the beach, 95 and FAU, and only 15 minutes to downtown Delray and 10 minutes to Mizner Park and the new Brightline station near downtown Boca. It is an older community, which has way more natural open space and mature trees, than any new development in the area would provide. There is also a large lake with a walking path around it which the residents enjoy. I've lived here a long time and love it. The community is well maintained and always making improvements. There is also a 24 hour manned gate.

Dont move here. Youre going to pay for lawsuits and other nonsense as they do nothing to replace the dead landscaping, trash all over the place, or rampant crime. I made the mistake of moving here and had to talk to detectives half a dozen times because of homicides let alone all the thefts and vandalism. HOA doesnt care, if you complain they target you with illegal booting or peeping into your home and vehicle in hope of finding violations. Theres reason why they pay out so many lawsuits, its a club of corruption and youre not in it.

Nice lake and landscaping, but that’s about it. The area near the on-site school is extremely loud- constant screaming kids and loud music. Parking rules are confusing and poorly communicated, and the office is slow to respond; even simple issues can take weeks. Some neighbors are overly observant. High HOA fees for very little service.
