Venetian Gardens at Country Club of Miami

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I bought an apartment here two years ago, and it’s been a nightmare. There are no assigned parking spaces, yet it seems like they’ve sold them off, as some apartments have four authorized cars with parking stickers parked here. It’s a joke and shows a total lack of respect for the residents; I come home from work and have to park far away—wherever I can find a spot. And don't get me started on the gate/entrance. It’s always broken or left open, making it incredibly easy for thieves to steal from or vandalize cars; sometimes it stays broken for up to three months. Don't make the mistake of renting or buying in this horrible place. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I’ve been living here for 4 very sad unfortunate years. There has been “construction” going on for over 2 years and the construction company leave storage containers and rotting wood in valuable parking spaces that leave a lot of residents having to park on grass, unlabeled parking spots, and just about anywhere. They enforce rules where we cannot park in unlabeled parking spots and call a booting company to come at the crack of dawn to put boots on peoples cars. I have counted over 20 cars booted this morning including my car which was parked by a pallet of wood that had been occupying 2 parking spaces for YEARS now. I promise I am not exaggerating in the slightest. Every time my car gets booted you HAVE to pay in order to remove the boot and the association and GRS management company “cannot” do anything about it because “the board of the association created those rules” which is bogus because they are very aware of this issue since forever and think that booting is the solution to control the parking issue. Not only that there are a plethora of issues other than parking. Like how ungodly the place looks with all the unfinished construction, the security gate is ALWAYS broken and sometimes doesn’t read the entrance cards that have been issued. The Pool on the first half of me living here was closed, people steal packages, the apartment complex has a roach problem and it doesn’t matter how much you fumigate because when it rains it causes bad flooding and they find their way back in every time. The washing facilities break down often and they raised their prices on washing and drying clothes to 2.50 and it’s a subpar wash at best. The only thing that was good in the beginning was the hot water but because recently they had an issue with the water heater, something about it breaking, it’s now extremely inconsistent with how hot the water is and how long the water takes to get hot which is SO inconvenient when you get off of work and really need to shower before bed. I could go on and on about this place but i needed to state the core issues of living here. The board members need to do a better job at taking care of their residents because after 4 years of hell I am not renewing my lease here and good luck with trying to keep long term residents.

If you're looking for a place where you don't have to worry about picking up your dog's poop, this is the perfect spot. It's covered in dog poop everywhere, and the stench of urine is unbearable. In the afternoons, the parking lot is like a bar, packed with people drinking beer, some even shirtless. The pool is just as bad; you can't even go there with kids anymore. The atmosphere is awful, the music is deafening, people are drinking beer from glass bottles, and I'd even venture to say they're smoking marijuana right in front of everyone. So, if you're looking for a place to do whatever you want and live in filth, this is the perfect place.
