The Laurels at Margate

Take this from someone who has lived here since 2019 and just recently moved out(thank God). Please do not buy here nor rent from this place. In the span of 6 years, we have been through multiple different management sometimes having no management at all. And when we do have a manager all they are hired for is to keep a chair warm at an office. They can’t get anything done without talking to the actual people in charge. The neighbors are all nosey and older and will complain about anything. Gym extremely outdated. Rules and policy’s even more outdated. The new “president” is also just a glorified body who really can’t do anything either except hear your complaints. We have moved out 2 months ago and still waiting on our deposit back that we paid upon move in. We didn’t cause any damage to the property and disposed of our property properly upon moving out. They are legally required by law to give us our deposit within 30 days but states they can’t find it in their records. To that which we sent them proof of the paid deposit. They don’t answer the phone nor respond to emails. Please do yourself a favor and just stay away. All this new reviews must be from the new board members who are trying to sell you on this fake dream of living here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worse enemy.
