This community offers a fantastic living experience with its clean, quiet atmosphere and well-maintained amenities, including pools, a gym, and BBQ grills, all just a short drive or jog from the beach. Residents consistently praise the quick and helpful maintenance team, the transparent pricing, and the overall feeling of being well-cared for. However, some residents have experienced frustration with parking availability due to construction and believe that management could be more proactive in addressing recurring issues like pest control and ensuring amenities like propane tanks are readily available.

Two major issues regarding Ocean Club's amenities (1). Rats (yes, rats, not mice but full grown long tailed RATS) infest the grill and trash area at the office pool. This has been an ongoing problem for months now. The problem started during Highmark's rebuilding of the sea walls that line the drainage canals. The rats needed to find a new home and chose the pool area. The Leasing Office staff is well aware of the rat infestation and lay the blame on the maintenance supervisor's lack of initiative to remediate the problem. I thought is was unprofessional of them to rat out the maintenance supervisor in front of residents when we reported the issue. That being said, the maintenance supervisor is the only person on the planet who can pick up the phone and call exterminators? No one from the office is empowered by Highmark to take initiative on their own? Strange way to do business. (2). The maintenance supervisor is the only person Highmark has empowered to ensure empty propane tanks are swapped out with fresh ones. There's been two occasions where we residents have had to swap the tanks on our own *in full view of the Leasing Office staff*. They watched us disconnect the empty tanks and swap them out with Blue Rhino's from Walgreens. They couldn't be bothered to even stick their heads out of the office and ask "hey, what's going on, why are you residents performing [dangerous] work our staff is supposed to take care of?" They just don't seem to care. If you're looking for a cushy job with good pay & benefits, little to no actual responsibilities apply to Highmark to be a Leasing Consultant. You can even throw a little attitude at residents too.

Today, I went along with my friend who was looking for an apartment to rent. We spent ALL DAY going through several different communities. The difference maker? EMILY T. at Sheridan Ocean Club! After visiting four other complexes, we met with Leasing Agent, Emily. She immediately stood out. She was warm, knowledgeable, patient, and so helpful. She was truly interested in helping my friend find the right apartment. GENUINELY. This was someone who took HOURS to help us find not only the right "fit," but did everything possible to work within our budget-with many hurdles along the way. She literally sat with us while my friend went through the application process and helped her every step of the way. Emily answered every single question thoroughly, gave us an informative tour, and made the entire leasing process stress free. Her professionalism and friendly personality made all the difference. By the end of our visit, my friend knew Sheridan Ocean Club was the right choice and is looking forward to her new home. As a long-time Real Estate agent, I have dealt with many buyers, sellers, leasing agents, etc. and I can truly say that Emily is one of the best professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Definitely one of a kind! If you are looking for an apartment, I highly recommend asking for Emily. She provides outstanding customer service and Sheridan Ocean Club is lucky to have her!

This is a beautiful community. It has great amenities and the buildings and grounds are well maintained. The few times I've needed maintenance, they responded quickly and fixed the issue. It's close to the beach and a short drive to Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood. It borders two great nature preserves and it's in a quieter area of Dania Beach. Sheridan Ocean Club is one of the best places I've ever lived.

Sheridan Ocean Club Apartments has honestly been one of the best living experiences I’ve had. Since the first day we came in January, Carlos has been extremely helpful, kind, and patient with us. He has always made us feel welcomed and taken care of, and that makes a big difference when you are choosing a place to live. The leasing office in general has been great, but Carlos definitely deserves recognition because he really goes above and beyond. What I like the most is that the whole community feels quiet, clean, and well taken care of. Both pools are always in perfect condition, clean, peaceful, and ready to enjoy. The gym is also always clean and ready to use, which I really appreciate because it makes it easy to stay consistent. There are BBQ grills in both pool areas, and even though they are first come first serve, every time I have gone I’ve been able to use them without any issue. They also bring food trucks once in a while, which is a really nice touch and makes the community feel more alive. Another thing that really stands out is the maintenance team. They literally run to fix anything you need, and if you ever need help with something, the leasing office actually helps you. This is the first time I’ve lived somewhere where I feel like the office and maintenance team really care about helping residents, not just answering and moving on. Everybody has been great, and that gives you a lot of peace of mind. The location is also amazing. Being only about 4 minutes from the beach by car, or around 12 minutes if you want to jog there, is a huge plus. There are also tennis and basketball courts. I personally don’t use them, but you can tell people really enjoy having them available. It gives the place a nice lifestyle feeling, especially if you like being close to the beach, staying active, or just enjoying the area. Another thing I really appreciate is that the prices and numbers they tell you in the beginning are actually what they charge you. That transparency matters a lot. Also, if you have good credit, the deposit can be realistically lower. Mine was only $500, and that was a big difference for me because I came from places where moving in could be around $8,000 with first month, last month, and deposit. That made the whole process feel more fair and professional. Overall, I’m really happy living here. The community is clean, quiet, and taken care of, the amenities are actually useful, the maintenance team is fast, and the leasing office has been amazing. Special thanks to Carlos for making the experience even better since day one. I definitely recommend Sheridan Ocean Club Apartments to anyone looking for a place that feels comfortable, organized, transparent, and well managed. For me, it has been a place that feels easy to live in, easy to enjoy, and worth recommending.

Sharon, the office manager, and Bridgette, her supervisor, clearly do not care about the residents of this community. Last Saturday, I got home from work at 1:00 AM and was unable to find parking because around 15 parking spaces were being occupied by the construction work. I drove around the condominium several times and still could not find a single available spot. With no other option, I parked my car on the corner by the sidewalk.. At 3:00 AM, my car was towed. I then had to pay $200 just to get my car back. When I went to the office to complain and explain the situation, I was given no real solution or support. Instead of helping residents, management is creating problems for them. I have lived here for several years, and this has never happened before. It is extremely disappointing to see residents being treated this way. Well done, Sharon and Bridgette great way to take money from your own residents.
