Confortable and peace place for living

DO NOT MOVE HERE — Terrible Management and Unfair Charges I would strongly advise anyone considering this apartment complex to think twice. My experience was extremely frustrating from start to finish. During my time living here, I dealt with a centipede infestation that was never properly resolved. To make matters worse, the area is the ghetto -I woke up at 3am to gunshots right outside my window, followed by a heavy police presence, with little communication and no context about what had happened. It was terrifying and did not make me feel safe living there. After moving out, the issues continued when management failed to return my full security deposit. Suddenly, my final water bill was nearly three times higher than normal, and I was charged for additional items that I do not believe were accurate or justified. It felt like they were looking for reasons to keep my deposit instead of handling the situation fairly. What made the situation worse was the complete lack of communication. After multiple attempts to resolve these issues with both the property manager and the account manager, I was essentially ignored. Management stopped responding and made no real effort to address my concerns. To add insult to injury, they reported negative information to my credit report claiming I failed to pay for a month that I was no longer living there. This negatively impacted my credit and made it much more difficult for me to secure another apartment afterward. A property management company should be accountable, communicate with residents, and handle move-outs honestly and professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would not recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place where they will be treated fairly.

I have mixed feelings about Savio. We lived there for 13 months. The apartment itself is great. The apartment layout, new appliances, resort-style pool, dog park, all of it feels nice and well taken care of. Neighbors have mostly been friendly too. Maintenance team is awesome, honestly no complaints there, they get stuff done fast. The leasing office is a different story. Anytime we need an answer to something, it takes like 5-10 emails or calls back and forth just to get a response. Right now we're dealing with a billing issue — they told us to pay the prorated amount since our lease end date fell in the middle of the month, which we did, but the remaining rent is still showing as due on our account. We've been trying to get this sorted for two weeks now with no response, even after multiple follow ups. Bottom line — if you don't mind chasing people down for answers and can be patient, you'll probably love living here because the actual living part is great. If you need quick communication, just know that's not really their strong suit.
