08/01/26: The fire alarm has gone off 3x this week, 1 a.m., 9:30 p.m., and 2 p.m. They can blame the restaurants downstairs and the apartment tenants all they want, but clearly something is wrong. If tenants were truly triggering the alarm over minimal things, every apartment community would have alarms going off all the time. I've lived in multiple communities and have never had this issue. I wish they would just acknowledge that they cut corners in this building. Between both buildings, the alarm goes off multiple times a week. There needs to be a faster way to notify tenants whether it's a drill or an actual emergency, because who wants to constantly leave their home, or get out of bed in the middle of the night for false alarms? 04/21/26: The fire alarm has gone off at least three times in the past week. At 10 PM, midnight, and even 5 PM. Management used to send follow-up emails with explanations, but that’s stopped, which is concerning. I guess they got tired of coming up with an excuse. There is clearly an ongoing issue with the system, and it feels unsafe. Parking has also become increasingly frustrating. The limited free parking that was previously available around the building has now been converted to paid parking, creating an unnecessary burden for residents. The mail room is another major issue. There is still no organization. Packages are piled together with no system by floor or apartment number. Residents are forced to dig through stacks just to find their own deliveries, which is inefficient and unacceptable. Prospective residents should be aware that many of the 5-star reviews appear to come from people who have only toured the property. Current residents are dealing with ongoing issues that are not being addressed. While the property has potential and presents itself as a “luxury” apartment, there are significant operational problems, especially for a new build, that need immediate attention. 01/25/26: Back again. The fire alarm goes off frequently in both buildings, and residents have no way of knowing whether it’s a false alarm or a real emergency. Because of the constant false alarms, there’s a real concern that residents could become desensitized, which is dangerous in the event of an actual fire. Additionally, the parking gate has been broken for months with no resolution. The mailroom also lacks any real package management system, packages are not organized by apartment number or floor and are instead piled together in one room. Residents receive no notification when a package arrives, making it difficult and time-consuming to locate personal deliveries. Individually, these issues might be manageable, but taken together, especially given the cost of rent, it feels like residents are being overcharged for the level of service and maintenance being provided. Unfortunately, I have to echo the sentiments of my neighbors. The building and the staff are amazing. It’s clean, and the staff tries their hardest to make it a positive experience for us. However, the fire alarm goes off often, the wifi is down for hours without an estimated time of when it’ll be back, the walls are thin. I live on the construction side so I’m also woken up everyday by loud construction noise. Guest parking is difficult, before taco craft opened they made guest pay for parking and if the time expired they received a ticket! I feel like we pay too much for our guest not to have anywhere or minimal space to park. Lastly, when I moved in my apartment finishes were a bit sloppy, as a new construction there were a lot of areas that were dirty from installation with paint and dirt and my refrigerator which I thought would be new had spill stains in them as if it had been used before. Mill creek definitely cut corners with this property and they charge so many additional fees on our rent.
