Building 9HP, next to the leasing office, has serious rodent, maintenance, noise, and management issues. For months, I reported excessive noise from the upstairs unit. Children constantly ran, jumped, moved furniture, and bounced balls from early morning into late night. Multiple complaints and even law enforcement calls produced no meaningful resolution. The biggest issue is the rat infestation. After reporting rodents, management placed basic traps that caught one mouse but failed to solve the problem. Recently, I discovered a large rat eating my dog’s food overnight. My own exterminator confirmed the infestation, set professional traps, and one rat was captured. Ring camera footage, photos, and evidence were provided to management, but my emails went unanswered. The apartment also has major maintenance problems, including a large hole in the AC closet ceiling, water damage, mold, standing water, and leaking beneath the floorboards. After management failed to address the issues, I contacted the City, BSO, and the Department of Agriculture. A Sheriff’s deputy inspected and documented the conditions. Communication is poor, maintenance requests go unresolved, trash service is inconsistent, walkway lights remain broken, and common areas are often unsanitary. If you’re considering moving here, be prepared for rats, mold, water damage, excessive noise, poor communication, and unresolved maintenance issues.
