I have been considering moving to this community for quite some time and have been closely following the reviews. While I have seen both positive and negative feedback, the recent decision to require residents to use Fetch for package deliveries has been the biggest concern by far. As a prospective resident, this policy has caused me to pause my apartment search here and seriously consider other buildings. One of the conveniences I expect from a luxury property is straightforward package delivery, especially for residents who frequently order online, receive time-sensitive items, or purchase perishable goods. What concerns me most is not only the policy itself, but the fact that so many current residents appear unhappy with the change. Major decisions that directly affect daily life should be carefully considered with resident feedback in mind. In my opinion, luxury buildings should focus on providing strong on-site service, such as a staffed concierge and secure package handling, rather than adding another layer between residents and their deliveries. For now, I have decided to continue exploring other communities. As someone actively looking for a new apartment, this policy has had a significant impact on my decision, and I suspect other prospective renters reading these reviews may feel the same way. Management may find that the cost of losing current and prospective residents outweighs the cost of investing in adequate on-site staffing and concierge services. For a luxury community, resident convenience and satisfaction should remain a priority.

One of the worst managed properties I’ve ever lived in. Not dog friendly, no disabled parking where needed, you can’t receive any packages here and no call box at the gate so guests or visitors can’t reach tenants. They removed all cushions from chairs in exterior communal areas so tenants don’t congregate outside and any attempt to rectify anything gets ignored. You’ll be in and out. Don’t waste your money here.

Greg and Bobby have kindly touched upon the issue with the mail room at the building which was once highly secure, organized and you could order from anywhere and know that you would receive that package without getting lost. Now they are making you sign up for a third party company called Fetch that costs money and is in violation of our lease. We signed the lease with the understanding that the package room is an amenity and now that has been taken away. We are consulting with attorneys as this building is out of control lately. The electric chargers still don’t all work, families and guests using the pool over residents (the pool designated for children are not used ever by the children) very rude staff (not all but some) and dog poop all over the grounds. This was once a very sweet, joyous, clean community and now there is something very off. I notice them responding to the negative reviews without a solution. I implore every one that lives here to make a comment in disagreement with this new mail policy as it does not align with our leases and is in direct violation of the amenities we signed on for.

I want to start by acknowledging Bobby’s original review. He said it first, and after experiencing this myself, I completely agree. This needs to change, and until it does, nobody should move here. As of April 1, 2026, the building no longer accepts deliveries from major carriers like UPS, FedEx, or DHL. The only service allowed on site is USPS. Residents are now forced to use a third party company called Fetch Package based out of Delray Beach. Under this system, every package has to be shipped to an off site warehouse first, then delivered again later. Fetch takes a minimum of two days to deliver a package, and that does not even start until the day after it arrives at their facility. This creates constant delays and increases the chances of packages being lost or mishandled. This policy was never disclosed in the lease and was implemented without proper notice. It removes a basic expectation of apartment living, which is being able to receive packages directly at your home. In reality, it is even worse than what management communicated. Even though the email Bobby posted says residents have until May 1, 2026 before packages will be refused, they have already been refusing packages for over a week. All deliveries are turned away immediately. There is someone stationed in the lobby specifically to stop delivery drivers and tell them they cannot leave packages, so everything gets refused and sent back to the sender. On top of that, Casa Mara appears to be posting fake five star reviews to hide negative feedback. If you look at the review timeline, two brand new five star reviews were posted in the days right after Bobby’s review went up. The timing makes it very obvious they are trying to bury his review so new people will not see it without scrolling. Like Bobby stated, at roughly $4,000 per month for a two bedroom after fees, there is no excuse for this. Residents should expect secure and reliable package delivery, not a forced third party system and blocked deliveries. Anyone considering moving here should be aware of all of this before signing a lease. Between the lack of transparency, the forced use of Fetch, the refusal of all standard deliveries, and the attempt to hide negative reviews, there are serious issues here. Until something changes, I would strongly advise against moving here. -Gregg
