Gather Southern

Cross the street from your home at Gather Southern and in less than a 10-minute walk you’re on campus at the University of Memphis. Roll out of bed and grab an espresso from the coffee lounge to sip on your way to class. In your free time, you’re a 15-minute drive from downtown Memphis for indie film festivals and smokey melt hamburgers at Huey's Downtown.

After class, finish off assignments in the cosy 24-hour computer lab. Curl up with your laptop in the privacy of your bedroom, or organize a group study session in one of the study areas downstairs. If you don’t have your own laptop, jump on one of the iMacs or PCs to send your emails.

Enjoy sharing an apartment with one, two or three friends or have a studio all to yourself at Gather Southern. You can shower for as long as you want and still be on time for class with your own bathroom. When you want company, meet a workout buddy in the fitness center, or cook with housemates in the kitchen while you wait for a load of laundry to finish in the washing machine. On weekends, pick a blockbuster and watch it in the movie theater with some snacks, or laze around the swimming pool before catching rays on the sun deck.
