Head to the neighborhood where the sun and stars shine bright
A-lister neighbors and behind-the-scenes Hollywood tours await those who call Burbank home. Known as the Media Capital of the World, the area is crammed full of behind-the-scenes set tours, live TV tapings and famous restaurants. Close to some of LA’s top attractions, the sunny district is the perfect place to experience movie magic in the making.
After lectures, head to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood to see the set of the coffee shop from Friends and Harry Potter costumes, before wandering to Niko Niko Sushi to feast on fresh fish at the counter. If you prefer to be part of the action, bag yourself a place in a studio audience for shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show or The Big Bang Theory, which are free of charge.
If books are more your thing, spend an afternoon buried in the legendary Iliad Bookshop, before heading to the retro Magnolia Park, which is just five minutes from the bustling Downtown Burbank and has boutique shopping and quirky eateries. The Downtown district has 33 blocks of shops and sidewalk cafes - perfect for a great few hours of people watching.
