Treat yourself to a grilled panini at Café Kopi before class, as Tower at 3rd is only a 10-minute walk from the University of Illinois. Walk less than 10 minutes on your way home to pick up supplies at County Market grocery store. And at the weekend, hop on your bike and pedal across campus to Market at the Square farmers’ market to load up on fresh vegetables.
Back at Tower at 3rd, drop off your books in your room and head to the recreation center to catch up with friends over poker or billiards. Work out together in the 24-hour fitness center, before freshening up in the bathroom back in your two-bed apartment. Throw your kit into the washer dryer, or use the free communal laundry facilities.
Once you’ve worked up an appetite, head to your kitchen to cook with your housemate, and eat together at the dining table. Then, load the dishwasher before curling up on the sofa in front of the flat-screen TV. When it’s time to hit the books, connect to the high-speed internet and study in your room, or head down to the computer center.
The on-site management and maintenance teams will keep everything running smoothly, and will arrange social events for you to get to know your neighbors. Don’t give bills a second thought, as electricity, water, sewer, trash, internet and cable are included. You’ll have peace of mind with courtesy patrol officers and after-hours on-call staff, plus parking and bike storage.
