Walk outside the gated community at Maverick Place and jump on the UTA shuttle to classes at University of Texas at Arlington: you’ll be there in five minutes. If you have your own car, rentable carports are available outside your building.
After spending the day in lectures and tutorials, head home to Maverick Place to relax and unwind. Make the most of the Texas sunshine and swim a few laps in the resort-style swimming pool, or relax poolside and catch up with friends. When the sun goes down, hang out in the games room or grab a seat in the Cyber Café, where you can use the free Wi-Fi to Skype family and friends back home, or use the iPod docking station to play your favorite music. When you want to clear your head, hit the 24-hour fitness center, then head to the Study Garden and get back to work feeling refreshed.
When hunger strikes, make you way up to your fully-furnished apartment, where the modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator with ice maker. There’s a washer and dryer in your apartment too, so you won’t waste time going to the laundromat when you run out of clean clothes.
After you’ve eaten, take a seat on the couch in your living area and use the free internet to research your latest assignment. When you’ve caught up with college work, simply relax and watch TV.
