A few streets from your front door at Unite Students The Forge and you’ll be at the top of Sheffield’s “golden mile” of shops and restaurants on Eccleshall Road. By day, enjoy the relaxed café culture - share a platter at Graze, or catch up with friends in one of the hip coffee bars. When the sun goes down, the strip becomes the beating heart of student life, with bars like Champs and Menzel’s firm favourites. And there’s no better buzz than on match day, when 32,000 fans descend on neighbouring Bramall Lane football stadium.

At Unite Students The Forge, you’re just five minutes from the Collegiate Crescent campus of SHU and less than a quarter of an hour from its city campus. You can walk to University of Sheffield in under 20 minutes or wander into central Sheffield in no more than 10 minutes. You’ll certainly save on travel costs here.

Join over a thousand students at Unite Students The Forge, which is one of Sheffield’s largest halls. Your roomy studio has everything you need, including a private bathroom. Hit the books at your desk, using the free 25MB Wi-Fi to do some online research. If you get hungry, you’ve got your own kitchenette, where you can practice your cooking skills. If your cupboards are bare, don’t worry, there’s a choice of three supermarkets nearby. Curl up on your three-quarter bed (or double if you opt for the largest studios, that are suitable for sharing) to have quick nap if all that cooking has tired you out.

Downstairs, you’ll find a huge common room complete with table football, and an onsite gym for when you want to get out of your room. There’s bike storage, car parking, an onsite laundry and a vending machine plus round-the-clock security to keep you safe.

Or for real English countryside, jump in a taxi for 15 minutes and see the rugged beauty of The Peak District that lies just outside Sheffield.
