If you’re studying at University of Sussex or University of Brighton Falmer campus, you can walk to lectures in a matter of minutes when you’re based at Lucraft Road. It’s a 20-minute stroll to the University of Sussex and just nine minutes to the University of Brighton at Falmer. If you’re studying at University of Brighton Moulsecoomb campus, take the bus and get there in 15 minutes. When you want to head into Brighton, the regular bus service will take you to the city centre in around 25 minutes, or you can catch the train from Falmer station and reach Brighton in six minutes.
You’ll be living close to campus so it won’t matter if you forget to pick up an essential book, as both university libraries are nearby. Your quiet, peaceful surroundings will make it easy for you to keep your mind on your studies, and there’s plenty of space in your private room to spread out your books and research your latest assignments. If you favour group study, you’ll be sharing your home with three other students, so you can all work together, or invite friends over to brainstorm.
When you’ve finished your college work, head to the kitchen to whip up your favourite comfort food. There are several supermarkets on nearby Lewes Road where you can stock up on ingredients, and Brighton Open Market sells a great selection of fresh produce and locally-farmed meat. If you’re not in the mood to cook, meet friends in Brighton to share Mexican street food at Wahaca.
