You’ll be living a short walk from the Porte d’Orléans Metro, so you can travel to École Normale Supérieure in around 25 minutes. It’s a 38-minute Metro ride to Université Pierre et Marie Curie, and 28 minutes to The American University of Paris. If you’re studying at Université Paris-Sorbonne you can travel to class in 26 minutes. When you want to head out of Paris, it’s a 14-minute bus ride to Gare Montparnasse.
You’ll be sharing your apartment at 13 Rue Albert Sorel with four others. You can opt to have a private room, or enjoy great value when you share a spacious twin room with a friend. Whichever you decide, you’ll have enough space to study and relax; there’s a large desk in your bright, airy room, and there’s plenty of storage to keep things neat and tidy. There’s also free Wi-Fi, which helps when you need to research an assignment or want to keep in touch with friends and family at home.
When it’s time to relax, make your way to the large, shared living area and kick back on the sofa, or cook dinner together in the fully-equipped kitchen then eat together at the dining table. There’s an on-call maintenance service and 24/7 emergency service if you run into any problems.
It’s easy to manage your money because gas, electricity and water are included in your rent, and there’s a washing machine in your apartment. That means you’ll have more money to spend on nights out with friends at popular Montparnasse bars like Le Café Tournesol.
