How do I apply for a student flat in Southampton?

After choosing your favourite from our options of student flats in Southampton, go to the property page by clicking on ‘View rooms’. On the property page, choose the type of room you’d like to live in and click ‘Enquire’ or ‘Book Now’. You’ll then be asked to leave your contact details so that one of our booking consultants can call you and take you through the next steps of the booking process or answer any questions you may still have.

When everything is set up, we’ll send you your rental contract to sign.

What are the different room types you offer?

We currently offer three different types of student rooms in Southampton.

A Shared Room has two or more people sharing the same bedroom while other living spaces, like kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms are shared with occupants of other rooms.

A Private Room offers a private bedroom. Depending on the property, the bathroom might be either private or shared. Additional facilities like the kitchen are shared.

An Entire Place will give you a fully self-contained studio property - your bedroom and all other facilities in your student flat are just for you. The perfect choice if you don’t want to share living quarters with other people!

Is it safe to rent private student accommodation instead of living in student halls?

We carefully vet all the landlords we feature and only list properties from trusted student accommodation providers. Staying in a student house rented from a well-known accommodation provider ensures that you’ll have a great living experience during your university years.

What bills are included in the rent?

Typically all bills are included in your rent but it depends on the property. So make sure that you check if the accommodation you’re interested in has all bills included or not. You can see this by clicking on the property you’re interested in and checking the information on the property page. Alternatively, you can give us a call and our booking consultants will be happy to give you more information on the properties you’ve got your eye on.

Can you arrange a viewing for me?

Many of the properties we list in Southampton have a great array of photos and videos available on the property pages, so even if you can’t see the place for yourself, you’ll still be able to get a good idea of what the property will look like.
