With the Peak District on your doorstep, bustling city centre with every cuisine a foodie can imagine, we have picked our top three things to do in Sheffield.

The Abbeydale Picture House

First up is an insanely awesome 1920s Grade II listed cinema. Not only a cool place to catch a film screening, it also is host to many different live events. Although the building is undergoing renovation, each corner tells a story which is part and parcel of why this place is so magical.

The Leadmill

You can’t go wrong with live music, especially in this venue. Popular since the 1980s and hosting many a legendary line-up, this venue provides the perfect stage for musicians from all over the world. If that isn’t enough, there is also some comedy, cinema and club nights too – so even more reasons why you should check it out.

Graves Gallery

Okay, what do you get what you couple a library with a gallery? The Graves Gallery. This beautiful free-entry gallery is on top of Sheffield’s central library. Which provides the perfect opportunity to experience a cultural double-whammy. Home to city’s permanent art collection comprising from across the ages, this gallery is a must-see for any art fan. You would never believe it’s in the middle of the bustling city centre as you walk into a zone of calm.
