*grins* Hi, i'm Rob, i'm a far-from-single white male (though some say I'm more Greek than white...kinda funny for an Anglo-Celt), I like long walks in the woods, candlelight dinners, and gazing at the stars....or into someones eyes...
Meh, this isn't a dating show, and if it was, well you know the net. A 16 year old cheerleader is probably a 41-year old obese bus driver named Gordon with bad body odour, living in his parents house. In Trenton, New Jersey.
No offense to anyone who matches the above description / computer programmers.
Before I go on about myself and make myself look like an arrogant prick, TALK TO ME. I'll talk to anyone, even though i'm an arrogant prick (or so they say. Lies and deceit! I love my friends and family more than myself). I don't discriminate based on anything, INCLUDING shoe size. If you have big feet, don't worry, I understand.
I'm an active young bloke with simple loves. I love my friends, my family, and myself. And I love the Vancouver Canucks.
I also like sports other than ice hockey. I like rugby, rugby league, football, soccer, baseball, basketball, yeah you get the point. Just not dressage. I'm studying to be a gym teacher, eventually. I'm currently doing a fitness course at polytech (yanks read community college, aussies read tafe, my english teacher read dirty magazines before we started class)
Oh btw, i'm not a smartass. A smartass is one that can sit on a popsicle stick and tell you what flavour it was.
My main goal in life is to survive until the next day, but thats petty easy considering Dubya hasn't found out about New Zealand's oil reserves yet (shh!). I'm also pretty keen on becoming a teacher. A really good one. A bloke who teaches life skills like leadership, confidence, underwater basket weaving, communication, teamwork and the like. I wanna teach kids who are shy and unconfident. And I wanna do it using the outdoors. Outdoors rock. I hope to achieve this through the University of Auckland's Bachelor of Physical Education. Unless I get lucky and figure out a way I can afford to study at Capilano College in Squamish, British Columbia, which would be way better and much more relevant. And close to Vancouver, which is good. And far away from Auckland, which is also good (jokes!)
I hope to get into the aforementiong Bachelors by transferring from a Diploma in Sport and Recreation, which I am doing at Bay of Plenty Polytechnic. If I do not survive it, I intend on spending the rest of the year working then go to broadcasting school next year.
I'd also like to be the first New Zealander to make it into the NHL, but the fact that I can't skate or shoot properly kinda makes that hard, unless I want to play for the Washington Capitals (badoom-ching!)
(Which I don't. Go 'nucks.)
My goals for this year are to pass my next course (Diploma in Sport and Recreation), to be a kickass triathelete, and hopefully managed to get to next year without dying in a freak accident involving a waterbed, and electric eel, and a toothpick. And to write a bio that isn't a whole page long.
