Seeking knowledge/power, centering inward, informing outward, transcendental meditation, writing (poetry especially), teaching, playing, acting like a child, dressing all funny, music (especially drumming), exploring the complex relationship between humans and psychedelics, analyzing history, developing philosophy, chemistry, biology, neuroscience, psychology, sociology, motorcycling, football, gaming to an extent, reading, walking to class.....BUT MOST OF ALL....I garner pleasure from that which keeps me alive. I think, I test, I experiment. I help, I protect, I communicate. I facilitate, I provoke, I ponder.
/\/\/\/\ I'm a modern day shaman, looking for a place to call home.
/\/\/\/\ I feel that there needs to be somebody who goes out to the places that nobody goes. Someone who goes out on the limb, only to come back and tell the others how far is safe. Someone to learn the path, blow open the doors, and turn a light on. I can't claim to be that person, but I want to be, and I want to teach others how to be.
/\/\/\/\ I am not a giver of wisdom, or spirit. I can only tell someone how to find the door, not where it is, or how to open it. As such, I am not a teacher. However, I choose to be a guide.

The Phoenix roles into the fire so red
And roles out but far from dead
The ashes give birth to something antithetic
Diversely, drugishly non-pathetic
He raps with words so easily spilling out from his mouth
His accent is riddled with words of the south
He rises from the ashes with power, prestige and clout
He bullets across country on a motorcycle grooving his route
He glows with enlightenment and fury fire of burning truths so right
He stands up for justice one and for all no matter how uneven the fight
Fire is known to burn to black ash and renew to life green
The Phoenix in action is a sight not many have seen
He is what the world needs…he’s the wicked skeleton key
This is the story of how the Phoenix came to be J_Jammer says: I came to see that if I gave a testimonial to Kel and I did...I was the first one. The reason I even thought about it was because of the conversation we had tonight. We've known each other for 3 years. We've possibly seen each other at our worse---as much as we possible could online---and yet we are still friends. I could say anything to Kel and it will not fall on deaf ears and he will not get mad and ignore me. He will be Kel and say something that either I agree with or not---but he will say something. Priceless worth. I often wish I could find someone that would offer the type of friendship in which I do and then I remember Kel and realize it's already been found. Later Potleaf.
