My dream...
to one day own my own art gallery in LA and discover new talent... to have my own work tour... to have weekend sessions where inner city kids can come in and learn about art and develop their talent. thats really important to me, art is soo important to childhood and development and it's often the least emphasized in schools, especially in the inner city, where funds are soo limited. also, i want to create an outlet for kids to go to and escape the pressure's in their lives

So my name is Camille Herby. I guess that is my formal introduction, but that's just a name really, and up until now, I've been trying to not lose myself by attempting to define it. Up until now.... I'm eighteen years old and that makes me feel both alive and inadaquate. But like my fifth grade english teacher once told me, "You have an old soul." But how old was it? And when I'm by myslef and it's dark and quiet I like to stare at the stucco on the cieling and pretend there are stars. When I look in the mirror I'm the Queen of England, (which one? Victoria maybe... or Elizabeth) but historically I always admired Catherine the Great. And, at that moment of the night, right before waking and sleeping I become Robespierre- immortilized by the beauty of linear time- we're born, we live, we decapitate, and then die. But of course you know well that I must be lying- oh the elegance of the trust needed for third person perspective, because in my life the lines that define truth and lie run perpendicular to circumsatnce, which are of course juxtaposed with lessons learned from bad descions on the path of eternal return. Maybe I'm a liar but that's what I love about the black and white- the dualistic- i can be anything i want. How refreshing! Even though as my favorite song cries, "She would change everything about her using color, bold and bright." So call me a liar, a lunatic or maybe even brilliant- as far as i'm concerned you can make the descision. Reading this you'll come to your own conclusions- the beauty of human nature. Writing this, i have no conclusions, or any ideas really. I'm a the cross roads of a preface and a blank page, and that is just simply beautiful. ...
